Interesting design choice. The sides and back look like they got all the attention. The front looks plain and boring. In terms of a moveable monitor/all-in-one I still think Wacom's Cintiq is the best. It just feels sturdy and you can adjust it to however you want.

@Zonky: Ha I like soccer, but that was just an example. I only watch it during the world cup really. NBA basketball has a higher percentage of live action as well. Baseball is probably on par, but a lot less exciting for me personally.

A friend of mine was telling me that he saw a study where they timed the actual amount of live action (from snap to end of play) in a football game compared to the total time you spend watching.

That's just inefficient. Sure it looks different, but you would hurt riding that thing around. If there is one thing that you shouldn't ignore it's ergonomics, and this bike just throws that out the window.

@RoboticSpacePenguin: I guess it's fair to say that it takes an individual to resist conformity, so this is in a way dealing with individuality. Though, this is more about Android, and the come away from the "controlling overlord" (Apple and their strict policies and guidelines). The Xoom itself won't be the only

@newtype: It's illegal to use free tethering/mobile hotspots (when they are supposed to require a plan), which requires root/jailbreak.

@isights: What's the % of consumers who could tell me right now what OS version they are running? For the majority of consumers it is just I have an iPhone 4 running iOS or I have a Droid running Android. They don't know and don't care. iOS has that percentage because it's so heavily tied to iTunes. If it wasn't then

@kurzad: There's a streaming only netflix plan. There's no commercials, and it's good quality. The dvd is nice because you can get the most recent films/shows to watch. I still don't use the DVD thing very often, but I do use the watch instantly constantly.

@Pacotron: Yeah I'm surprised more people don't get that. It's wasteful, but if I ordered just one set would I bet that annoyed? No. Dell packs for single set orders. If you order ten sets, they will just pull ten single set prepackaged boxes and send them to you.

@ddhboy: Plus the computer dock doesn't require a $30/mo tethering/mobile hotspot fee. You'd have to pay for that on top of the netbook and the cost of the netbook would already be equal to this dock so it would instantly be more expensive.

@Dancing Milkcarton: The regular dock is $189.99 with keyboard/mouse/remote turns the phone into a computer. I'm sure it's cheaper without all the accessories. How can you compare a charging station/media extender to that? It's still a little pricey, but no one else offers anything similar, and $30 could buy me a

@Malthian: Google TV is access to the internet on your tv. The point being able to search for content and have it search the internet and your cable. It never seemed intended to break dependence on cable, instead it was about the integration of your current content provider and the internet all on your TV.

I'm sick of waiting for the future, waiting for content providers to adpot the new age of media consumption. Provide both, most people are still not willing, or technically savvy enough to figure out the whole digital media age yet anyway. You'll still get your money from current payers, and you will be able to set a

@Malthian: Why Google TV? Hulu+ is a joke, but Google TV is a whole different thing. It aims to be a layer over your current content provider (be it cable or whatever else). They are different models entirely.

@dfp3050: Considering you deal with Google Sync, it's all pretty seamless. I would imagine the experience is actually better with Android since all your data is/has been with Google so contacts, emails, photos, docs, etc are all linked to your google account.

@RuckingFetard: I don't know if it looks cheap, it just doesn't look that great.

@DavidWizard: I wasn't using it as a means to state their speed, just the fact that they are similar. OMAP vs. Snapdragon, unless we are going into in depth benchmarks, it wasn't worth stating otherwise. The difference I was pointing out was the speed of blur vs. Sense in relation to the processor. So for this

@HPPalm: That's a long run for the Incredible. Pretty impressive for an Android phone which seem to get outdated every couple months.

@madisomi loves lasercats: The incredible does all those things you mentioned as well. Both are rocking 1Ghz processors, but blur is slower than sense. I'd still pick the incredible over the DX these days. The only thing rockin for the DX is the bigger screen, which at this point is preference and not an outright

@WestwoodDenizen: I'd agree. Wave was actually a really good idea and well executed web-app. I loved using it, but most people just didn't get it. A massive miss doesn't mean it wasn't a good product, and even if everyone doesn't use it, I hope I find it useful (like chrome-to-phone).
