The BX replaced the GS (an originally rotary-powered oddity in its own right),
I thought you’ve found HubNut’s Dolly.
My favorite car brand. Used to build absolute beauties. And if they weren't stunners like the DS and SM they were at least well designed quirky things like the 2CV and Ami. Build quality is meh of course, because French, but that's part of the charm!
I want to drive from El Paso, TX to Bonners Ferry, ID in a delivery van version of a 2CV with knobby off road tires- avoiding paved roads for the entire trip.
This is very cool - thank you! I must repay you with some photos after our adventure. (Also, I love that R500. We have a rear-drive Previa. So, about 1/3 the power, but it’s mid-engined, so.... that’s something right? :) )
Belts. The correct size belts are not going to be readily available at the auto parts store as we discovered at East Fest this year. Using an incorrectly sized belt resulted in an alternator bracket breaking and a whole can of worms was opened on my friend’s 2800. Luckily I brought my jack and tools for them to use!…
No-one was getting away on those vehicles. Engine was a 1100cc (if I recall correctly) air-cooled flat-four.
Citroën GSA Break Club
Torch, you’re such a Doric. (And I say that as a term of endearment.)
It’s totally 80's-tastic!
It can fit a metric fuckton and the hydropneumatic suspension will automagically make the car level again.
Lovely cars. Shame they rust like any cheap 70s european car...
Dammit, it’s a perfectly good laser bust and if we put the seats down we can totally fit it in the car!
So.... the takeaway is that a brown (potentially manual) Citroen wagon is the perfect getaway car for the cyber-art heist of our dystopian retro-future?
