I own a Tesla.  I just see the EV market still in its infancy and anyone who owns one is kind of like a beta tester.

I just don’t agree with the government subsidizing any industry... farms, EV’s, etc. If EV is the future, then the technology will speak for itself. The tax credit isn’t helping lower income drivers buy electric cars. It is helping wealthy people buy into EV’s, even though they could likely afford them anyways. We haven’t seen an ecological benefit to EV’s yet for the small number sold, and the tax credit may be boosting sales, but not enough to offset ICE’s.

Electric cars have been “inevitable” for a long time now and are still a minuscule fraction of the market. I’m pretty confident I’ll be able to buy brand new internal combustion engine cars for the rest of my life (I’m 34).
