The national debt isn’t a problem. Until it is.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what’s for lunch.

Repeal 17. (As soon as we’re done with 16.)

From the federal perspective, “New Deal” style programs are not Constitutional. Such things should fall to the states. (10th Amendment)

Governments “create jobs” by getting out of the way of the economy.

The U-6 number includes discouraged workers.

I think the grid, as you mentioned is a big deal. I think it’s a much bigger deal than many of the EV fanboys realize. Massive increases in EV will do no favors to the demand on the grid. CA has rolling blackouts now. What percentage of cars in CA are EVs? Quick number I found suggests maybe around 6%. (Guestimated

Corporate greed does nothing for a company that can’t force people to give them money. If you think a company is fucking over it’s employees, don’t give them your business and ask your friends to do the same.

These hoods have gotta learn to put that pedal down and swing the rear end around.

Those costs will just get passed on.

There all always going to be poor people in an economy.

So your answer to that is to back legistlation which would basically eliminate the jobs being taken by these desperate people, leaving them more desperate? Or competing more for the fewer jobs leftover.

It only marginalizes people if they let it.

Wait... I have to read to make a responsible vote!?!
Ugh! So much work.

Any Californian of voting age will be familiar with the basic tactic of Prop 22: getting the good outcome for gig workers meant voting “no” on your ballot.

Agreed. Even the front of the C7 has a little Ferrari in it. They certainly expanded on the euro influence for the C8.

While I think the rear end could be a bit better, I think the C8 looks great.

That could be the case. I give the bus driver a little leeway. I think the bus may have been trying to change lanes too, prior to when the videos start. By the time the SUV hit the truck, it looks like the bus was correctly in its lane.

Yeah, it’s hard to push a market farther than it’s willing to go (if much at all) which is why such things are usually pushed via wealth transfer, a.k.a. subsidies.

Slow your roll, chief. I backed no horse and said they were all being dicks. The SUV just gets most of the blame as they went out of lane and, as far as I’ve been able to see, the truck didn’t. Video seems to prove the truck was not at fault. I’m open to another video that proves otherwise, but I’ve yet to see it.
