I was helping a lady yesterday, and she had her kid with her.  He was leaving the store, and me, flipping between full voice and sotto voce, said, "Uh, miss, your little," and before I could even apply my brain to mouth filter, finished with, "gremlin just left."  And I felt so terrible for that, and for laughing…
