I feel sorry for his daughter. Having had severe whiplash when I was a teenager, I know how much that can screw your neck up 20 years later.

I love the Vector W8. I got to sit in one at the Port Hueneme Air Show in California when I was 12 and it was delightfully bonkers. So bonkers that I remember it far more distinctly that my ride in a Ferrari 308 soon thereafter. Awesome car. Awesomely ridiculous car. It definitely occupies the prime poster spot on the

This is really a great example of a new company operating in an old field using Agile development methodologies enables them to focus on the right problems at the right time. Sure, we think this battery swap station is super cool, but if the marketplace determines it isn't quite the right time and that, in the

A trunk mounted bike rack on an Audi? Say it ain't so! I feel sorry for the paint job. Class 1 hitch rack all the way. Roof racks aren't great for garage entry/exit.

It would be better if the bottom side of that was an LED panel that you could use to send messages to the cars behind you. Something like, "The left lane is not for slow drivers" or "Hang up and drive, idiot." Now THAT would be useful.

I just want to know what kind of car that 4-door Ford Ranchero-looking thing was that drove by at about 1:20!

I've always liked the 914, but that is probably due to my Dad's stories about owning one. When he wasn't sure he wanted to buy, the dealer told him to take it for the weekend. He bought it, drove it for four years, and sold it for more than he paid for it. To this day he says it is the best car he ever owned.

I love the attitude, but I am not a fan of the grammar.

I worked at Ford during the Contour's run. I thought it was the best car Ford was making at the time. The V6 was butter smooth, the shifter on the available 5sp manual was Miata precise, the seats were well bolstered, supportive, and extremely comfortable. The entire interior design didn't have the typical American

This was the best-written car review I've read in a long time! Thanks, Jason. This is exceptional even for Jalopnik!

Vote for the Benz, folks! That Fox body is a proper junker!

I'm just thinking about how annoying finger prints are on touch-screen devices and windows. I supposed if the inside of the window had some kind of matte surface that masked these print marks, this would work. And probably quite nicely. Generally a very good idea.

Trolling win! Awesome.

My money is on Texas, with has been active in luring auto jobs to the state. They're also the only state with their own energy grid.

Yeah, the rollerbladers are bad, but they're not the worst. The worst are the hoardes of people that insist on walking line abreast all the way from Oak Street to Fullerton. You literally have to yell at them to get out of the way. And 8 mph is optimistic.

Actually, I ran by this shoot yesterday and there really was plenty of room to get by. They were only blocking one direction of the path that is almost 15 feet wide at that point. In addition, the car was at a junction in the path which increased the usable pavement for runners and cyclists.

I ran by this photoshoot on the Chicago lakefront at North Avenue yesterday afternoon. The car, a white-ish 2015 C-class did, in fact take up about half of the width of the painted bike lane, but they were parked at a junction in the bike lane that increased the usable space. The photographers seemed to be doing a

I think this says more about how far Le Mans cars have come while F1 continues to attempt to restrict performance. I understand there must be an upper end speed that human brains can process (this must be the F1 management's thinking), but if F1 cars cease to be the fastest in the world, it will be a bit pathetic.

I think Torchinsky needs to do a piece on "can an '03 WRX baby" for this poor chap.

Haven't they had M-sport BMWs in other markets around the world for decades now? They should be able to do basically the same thing in the North American market.
