I’m only past the first world at this point, but I wish they kept the alternate weapons for each character from the first game. It feels like a step back on that front.

I personally just crown every Witch, team readiness be damned
So that 4k number is per session, not the overall number, which I haven't seen Kotaku mention. That dramatically changes the context! It sounds like 4k per session is not only fair but generous.
I wish I had a bit more context on this. I understand that $4000 is insultingly small, but what is a good number? I have no idea how much voice actors make.
Im still playing 2020 lol.
I'll admit I have my Switch registered to my old zip code to avoid sales tax.
*Gets caught doing this*
I played the first voice of cards and felt like the only thing it has going for it is its very unique theming, plus some of the writing is pretty funny. Gameplay wise it is a very basic and generic RPG.
In the same way that not every single book or movie is preserved, it feels like it's worth picking your fights over video game preservation.
100% this. I played it a lot at launch and have occasionally thought about going back to it but it's too much like a MOBA now and I'm not willing to put in the time commitment to learning the meta and a bunch of new characters.
Take-Two stabs People Can Fly in the back with Project Dagger
Playing it now and literally yelled WTF during one of the endings
Why in the world would anyone want to dedicate the next ten years of their life to any role
How many games have topped this in terms of budget?
Let's get an award to Mark Rylance for sharpest dresser.
Also mixing up their mythologies with Valkyrie Elysium
I like Kojima a lot and I think many of his games are classics, but the guy can really get his head up his own ass sometimes. It’s funny that they cancelled it only because test players couldn't find The End with any accuracy. In a perfect world where this worked exactly as he intended it to, the ideal state is that…
I hope the DLC for this one isn't today segregated from the main game like the DK dlc in the first.
Is this meant to be the same Isildur, son of Elendil that cuts the ring off? Feels like the time line doesn’t jibe there
Dude looks like Daniel Radcliffe with a beard up there.
