Diablo’s old “Dark” aesthetic was tacky as hell. It’s the sort of thing that barely belonged in the 1990s. It’s like something you’d see painted on a van or a metal album from the 1980s. It has absolutely no place in 2014 or whenever D3 launched. And certainly no place in 2022 or whenever D4 comes out.

Snow Crash satirizes the genre this game takes seriously. There should be no driving in cyberpunk. Particularly not in a nice, expensive car.
