Given the number of lower court vacancies that the Senate is obstructing, they probably had the signs made seven years ago. :)
Warm, soft, and smells like the cat’s favorite person. The only thing that could make it more appealing for a nap is a sunbeam!
“Just think: nobody has ever seen inside this peanut before!!”
I’m not comparing her honesty to Bernie. Don’t mistake what I said. The disingenuous thing is just my gut reaction to her, and don’t worry, I don’t buy into any of the gop stuff against her.
THANK YOU! Old man has been in the House and Senate for 25 years, but he is such an outsider!
To be fair, there has never been a time when Obama was in his last year of his second term that he nominated anyone to the SCOTUS.
My favourite part of your comment is how you’re trying to equate Obama doing his job with the republicans being willful obstructionists who invent constitutional interpretations out of thin air.
Just nominate the bulldog Scalia from Last Week Tonight. He is highly qualified and adorable. Who’s voting against this face?
I kind of hate how “The Slot” is a vagina joke, too.
Bernie coughed first and it was much more authentic.
I was 13-14 in the mid-70s, and I got a lot of attention from grown men. I was thrilled by it. Boys my age either ignored me, barked at me, or called me names. Adult men talked to me like I was a person, admired me, complemented me. At the time, it was bliss, and I felt it made me special. And thanks mainly to a lack…
I appreciate your willingness to write a story that reflects deep ambivalence. I think there isn’t enough of that anymore (everything is always strident and polarized) but you did a great job sitting with the murkiness of what this all means about Bowie’s legacy.
And how long has it been since she opened her bible?!
NOT GREAT, XYZZY!
My favourite scene was when he wakes up after Trudy drives his mistress home the night before and she gives him the fuckin SMACKDOWN.
Yeah Pete was a dick to everyone, including his wife. His manner of speaking was very funny to me though.
I’m rewatching MM for the eleventy billionth time, and I really think Trudy might be my second favorite character. Alison Brie hit what little screentime she had out of the park, consistently, and is somehow impeccably ladylike with spot-on comedic timing.
