I think “We have given Greg a second chance” admits that he did something wrong in the first place, and recognizing that he did something wrong but not punishing him or advocating any punishment undermines the notion that Jerry Jones and the Cowboys and The NFL take domestic violence seriously. They don't. Football

“We do not condone domestic violence. We just enable it.”

But if you change that to “I think about how lucky I am that I like the way I look”, it's a pretty great message. Sounds like you've got a kid who confides in you and knows what your values are and that's pretty awesome.

“Hickory Dickory Dock. I fucked that bitch OHHH”

id take it a step further and say it’s not JUST about being cool with yourself and feeling neutral, it’s about actively working to have empathy for other women in place of competing. that’s usually the best antidote to self-absorption, self-consciousness, and envy - true empathy for other people.

@Gabourney. The few times it’s happened to me I had to fight the urge to make a barking sound and say “so sorry, sometimes she nips” as the hand got close. I’d scare the shit of the agent. (but wind up in a concrete room for a day or two)

I don’t live in Lake County but I work there, and the outrage and support for this officer’s “execution” was intense and super-racist. My old hs English teacher and a few others changed their fb pictures to “Blue Lives Matter” and talked about the “war on police”.

Wow, Houston.

But in Houston it's illegal for people to go in wrong sex bathrooms rights?? Isn't that what all those good people fought so hard for and got yesterday? And it doesn't automagically keep this shit from happening? Well damn, it seems like Houston is just full of asshole bigots then.

hopefully i’ll just be echoing what everyone else is saying (because it’s the right goddamn thing to point out) but

It’s almost as if refusing to protect trans people didn’t stop straight men from going into womens’ restrooms to assault children there.

I hope she just literally peed on him because he’s the worst.

I find it hilarious when black people are called racist for creating safe spaces. Wait. No. Not hilarious. It’s absolutely fucking ridiculous.

muuhh. (that’s the cows vote)

Talk about a courtroom makeover.

That does not look like the same person. Oh lawyer shenanigans!

Black sharpie!

The drink name? Yes, which is why the bar owner is scrambling to distance himself and his establishment from it. Slur are almost always ‘racist’ because they’re something easy to point to and avoid. But the whole idea of naming your bar after a Confederate general and themeing it around the ‘Southern Pride’ movement

Everyone knows it’s bad to be racist, and most people don’t look in the mirror and think “bad,” so they reject the term and justify all the thoughts in their head about race as just being the truth. They’re honest people who are just clear-eyed about the differences between the races, which just happen to be
