“Agonizing” and “heartbreaking” are not terms I would use to describe my decision to end my pregnancy, “logical,” “reasonable,” “responsible”, etc., etc.

It’s almost as though it’s not about babies or fetuses (fetii?) or life but rather about how horrible women are, wanting rights and shit, and not wanting to be baby factories!

i just got a “but you should say ‘not all’ white people.

you know, when we are dying in the streets literally, I’m really not here for you trying to insist that I give you a pass for being a good whitey/non-black person. white ppl thinking their feelings need to always be considered in every damn situation is really not helpful. so no, i won’t bother to say “not often”

Come on now. You know that our parents weren’t thinking at all in the 70s and 80s.

I remember seeing them on t.v. in their bunny outfits, which honestly weren’t all that scandalous, and I remember at school we had a “what do you want to be when you grow up” discussion and I said “A Playboy Bunny” and my parents had to come in for a conference.

It was like “classy Hooters”.

This is so sad, for everyone involved. I don’t know this woman or her circumstances, but it’s one more ringing condemnation of the anti-woman policies that restrict comprehensive sex education, birth control, abortion, and health care and leave women and children in untenable situations. Even if she had all the

It does take a lot of guts. But then the trolls will say “they’re doing it for money/attention, and this is proof!” Sigh. As a survivor of sexual abuse/rape myself, it amazes me the kinds of mental gymnastics people will go through to discredit victims.

My first exercise in “Gladenfreude”: Britney Spears looks amazing and her boys are adorable.

I am pleasantly surprised by the active verbs in this apology.

I am suuuuuuuper grateful that Twitter/FB/et al didn’t exist when I was 25. My hysterical maudlin bullshit was fortunately confined to AOL chat rooms and IMs.

“This is the WORST thing that has ever happened to me! I can’t believe no one CARES. And NO I do NOT want to talk about it. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!”

Because even with all the protests they are getting away with it.

Sandra’s death is suspicious to me, but even if she did commit suicide, the police department and that officer are responsible here. If I imagine myself moving to a new city and trying to start a new job and a new life, and suddenly, for no good reason, I’m subjected to violence and put in jail for 3 days, I would

Having little to no available childcare is a serious problem. I’ve heard so many stories like this. While these women are quick to be criminalized, there is never any information or resources to offer options when you’re in a bind. Supporting the mothers helps the children.

I think whatever residuals are there have now evaporated. I can imagine the cast getting a packet of lawsuits together for the loss of income.

write what you know, i suppose

Let’s both #HomerBushes out of here babes.
