That’s a very good point.
And when you think about it tesla is the same.It just doesnt get mentioned much

Was hoping they would just drive right on by the cashier and blythely break through the bar, upon being denied a free pass. I mean, they can certainly afford it, but it sure would be funny. If I was working the gate and heard the recently passed Bob Saget was the owner of the car, I’d have sent them right on through —

It’s pretty common here too for anyone who calls themselves a true gear head would have watched Top Gear of Fifth Gear to know the term.

Don’t people end up with all sorts of insects, rodents, and birds in their homes during open window season?

I work in the auto industry in the US. A while back I went on a business trip to England. One of my British colleagues asked me if I was a “petrol head” and I had no idea what that meant, or that it was a common term there. I’m still not sure it’s a common term over there.

DriveTribe also shut down.

It’s all about that GT90

3rd Gear: The Cybertruck is never going to happen. Seriously, look at the damn thing. No one is going to actually put that Nintendo 64 looking concept car into actual production. Even Emperor Elon’s ego can’t make that lunacy happen.

meanwhile, Rivian already has electric trucks on the road

Old diesel truck prices never made sense to me. I suspect there is an emotional attachment to this vehicle by the purchaser, maybe his first job involved a truck like that or some other positive association he has with it.

You’re actually not wrong! Lots of city and school buses come with “city gears” that limit top speeds. I’ve seen buses with top speeds as low as 45 mph. That makes sense, because the buses aren’t expected to ever leave a city.

First: Tesla is not a luxury brand. Convince me I’m wrong. The model S can pass for luxury, but not the 3/Y where the bulk of sales sit. Sure they offer huge amounts of technology, but that’s not “luxury”, unless we’re collectively agree to redefine luxury as high tech

when you drive on the ferry because it blinds the workers when they try to guide you in.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, they need to implement auto headlights like were on my 2008 Malibu and other cars at the time. Auto is the default, the selector is either auto or on, so when you turn the car on they’re always activated. If for some reason you want to turn them off you can select off but

What I truly do not understand, is that motorcycles have been required to have an always on headlight and taillight for DECADES, specifically for visibility and safety, yet, other vehicles have not been required to do so. I get the half-assed measure or DRLs, but headlights are so much more visible and cause no

Start with a new upper wiring harness - well known issue.

Is this a sandwich beef?

For some reason, I’m fairly positive that Doug writes each and every one of those.

That’s a lot of trouble for something where you could just get a regular tent that takes up a LOT less room and does the exact same thing. I love camping and offroading, but this rooftop tent craze doesn’t make any sense to me. But hey, I don’t like nuts in brownies, and others do, and that’s ok. The world is crazy

Awesome! Now instead of just unfolding a tent on the ground and blowing up an air mattress I just need to build a barn. Too easy.
