I would agree with more complex “moving parts,” but their air tools are a steal and I have had zero issues with them thus far. Even if I do, the $15 die grinder can die a few times over until it equals the cost of a pro-version.

New parents and you’re considering buying a Volvo without a warranty? I don’t think you’ve thought your cunning plan all the way through.
Fair enough. I stand corrected. Still unnecessarily complex, but whatever. If memory serves, the internal release overrides the safety catch, but I haven’t tried it out personally.
This is the dumbest fucking ‘backup’ system I’ve ever heard of. So the backup automatically releases when the primary releases? How is that any kind of safety?
Those panel gaps!
AWE makes small airfoils for the mirror that kill the buffeting on 981s.
I feel like they really missed their chance with the naming. It could’ve been “MAGA Klassic Kar Kruise” to really round it out and embrace the culture.
This will be quite the trial.
I get that, but that argument falls flat when you compare it to modern powerplants. For example, a 2.5L turbo-4 in a Porsche 718 has a pretty damn flat torque curve that both peaks at a higher output and lower in the rev range than the jaaaaaag V12.
It has a 6.0L V12 that makes 300hp. You can easily find more power in half the cylinders/displacement these days. Dude, I get the allure of a V12, but it has to bring SOME of the positives. A dog V12 is still a dog.
@dibellafiats on instagram has a pretty good import game going. We are planning on buying one ourselves when we move over some day.
My wife is absolutely in love with the old Panda 4x4s and I’m totally on board with getting her one. I think it’d be a hoot.
CP because I have to go sort out his ghetto suspension with good components, fix the ride height, and put money aside for the inevitably-necessary LS swap. NP @ $4-5k.
A 27% increase in cost with a real wage growth of about 3% is pretty crazy.
NP @ $2k. Above that, you’re smoking something... at $3200, it’s most definitely crack.
That is quite the bias you have there yourself... and the jalopnik-standard persecution complex if someone throws shade at a brand you own. I’ve had GM cars too - some nice, some junk. GM isn’t exactly knocking it out of the park lately.
Porsche manages that one too somehow. Warnings and chimes.
