It's happened to me when double checking my cart or adding other things...there is an Amazon pop-up that says "An item in your cart has had a price change". Sometimes up, sometimes down.

I think in most states it's illegal to enforce BUT it is always a bad idea. Someone in the conversation is going to have their ego/feelings hurt. No getting around that.
