I agree. Let’s face it: Sansa will eventually not be Ramsay’s prisoner anymore. Theon’s parts are never going to grow back.

“Our culture agrees that killing people is bad [...] For some reason, we don’t have the same reaction towards rape.”

Plus, why doesn’t Superman care that there’s a gang of Kryptonian criminals plotting to take over the world?

I hope they get a Red Tornado that doesn’t look like a stewed tomato in a pile of carpet samples.

I can’t believe his shit is on the main page. Alongside some of the nicest and most thorough journalists.

It’s just part of the new movement I’ve noticed, where people are pre-trolling.

I wouldn’t have imagined people would be upset about this, because Ghostbusters is considered much more of a classic than the Men in Black series. Though yes, MIB literally has “men” in the title, I don’t think anyone’s upset Will Smith is

Quite right. This would be weak sauce on Gawker. On io9 it’s well beyond the pale.

I sort of expected that Supergirl would make us wait several episodes until Supergirl met her evil aunt, General Astra, face to face. Possibly sweeps, possibly the midseason finale.

What do you mean “boo”? The new movies are by far the most successful at reaching the mainstream. Without the new movies, a new Star Trek TV show would NEVER happen.

You were not the only one. This was my go to for years. And, now that it’s on Netflix, my kids have watched it about a dozen times of their own free will. Still holds up.

This movie was ok, but when I was this age, “Explorers” blew my mind.

Someone had to come here with a serious comment about guns, violence, pollution, yada yada yada...

It’s not so bad if you remember that the vision of those crazy people is based on movement. And by movement, I of course mean the color of your skin.
