Did...did you just seriously make a point of condescendingly telling a woman how to do her job because she didn’t know a piece of trivia you do, on her review of a show about a woman having to do her job to the backdrop of douchebags on the internet being hypercritical.

I take your point and mostly agree but...spoiler:

>I find it interesting that people here do not just disagree, but are unwilling to even examine this point of view at all without going on the attack.

Yah...this is a horribly illiterate take on Miles. Maybe go back and read all the Ultimates books where (spoiler) Peter dies saving the world, and Miles uses his powers to replace him as a tribute.

That “Kneel before Zod moment” was so iconic that it made for one of the best jokes in any episode of Supernatural ever:

Yeah....but they all laughed when it happened, so that made it light and upbeat. And Stamp’s Zod kind of deserved it.

I showed my 8 year old son this picture and his reaction was “Yes! It’s the Fortress of Solitude!”

This is the sense I got. The character seems pretty casting neutral; doesn’t interact with or mention her own race, doesn’t utilize any americentric racial cultural markers. It seems like the character was written as a blank slate mean girl that could have been played by anyone.

Only you would make that joke.

I’m kind of alright with this, actually. The series reboot proved that these folks were willing to leave the universe broken after a time travel event, so I trust that this will generate a whole new timeline that...oh.

I thought about that, but then the shadowy government agenct would almost have to be the DOA, and that doesn’t seem like their style.

“Since Titans is on a different network, I don’t expect it to be part of the Arrowmultiverse at all.”

I so badly want that helmet to come off to reveal Rosenbaum.

This is Thrawn:

Ya know, I was cautiously optimistic about this, because I love Superman and nothing could be as bad as Smallville, right?

I get the frustration with the pacing and dialogue on this show, I do. But can we not take a moment and appreciate that, since ST:TNG, EVERY first season of Trek has been a slog?

“this is like saying it’s not OK to discuss the use of CGI in Star Wars?”

:D (bows)

I’d agree that a typical review contains that context, but I don’t think that makes the review “good” or even particularly useful. A case in point; The Amazing Spider-Man.

“...upset with the terrible lies that both CBS and the cast have fed us.”
