Just remember that going back to school doesn't mean you automatically get a job or that you'll suddenly make more money. I have many friends who just graduated law school last year and they are learning the harsh lessons of the current job market. There are not many attorney jobs available and, assuming you can

@Posco Grubb: I'm in the same wonderful boat. I haven't had explorer crash in a very long time. Actually, I think 2010 and 2011 have been crash free outside of two crazy blue screens related to a beta driver.

@Kodo Sai: That's a good point. I've gone to email signatures to close up items via the phone in the past.

Do we really need openers and sign-offs? Don't get me wrong, I use them; however, we know who the email is from, who it's to, who it's cc'd to, and so on. I feel like we could just stick to the body alone and the email would work fine.

I've been on Miui for so long that I forgot about most of these. I tried them all and I found ADW Ex to be my favorite for speed, stability, and features. If I could make ADW work similar to Miui, I would probably start using other Roms again. I've just gotten to used to the way Miui operates.

I find that afternoon naps that clocki in under 20 minutes help me a ton. Anything more and I need to take additional time to "wake up." I usually drive off our parking lot and sleep in my car at a local park. I usually see a ton of other nappers at the park too.

@hakujin1: This just solved a problem with one of my updates. Thanks!!

I have an original Droid. Now that I'm on the MIUI rom, my most used apps are on the main screen in two rows, with the Beautiful Home. widget at the top. The bottom tray has the 5 most used apps of all. System apps are to the left, and to the right of the home screen are all my other apps, mostly in the order from

I'm always happy to get more money, but a bump in pay isn't what motivates me to do my best. The pay just gets me in the door every morning. I would take an increase in job satisfaction and enjoyment over a raise or cost of living increase any day.

@AmphetamineCrown: I'm waiting for this post to fill up with similar silly comments. That page is hilarious.

@popennell and everyone else: Good call, I appreciate the info! Hopefully I never have a fire, but I'll keep testing these things.

I just moved and all my detectors in the new house are hard-wired.

@orphic1: Hot sauce is the best condiment on earth. My favorite is called "Sauce 10" [www.thehotzoneonline.com] I use the stuff like ketchup at this point. I'll have to try Blair's Sudden Death.

Wait a second... if I understand the implications of this article, we all should pay our taxes without making any attempt to decrease what is owed to the government through both deductions and strategy? Yeah, I'll get right on that one.

I like this question. I'm not super educated on this topic with respect to distribtuion and I would love to read arguments on how this would help/harm software distribution within the industry. The app store concept would certainly be easy for the user and a potential boon for the small developer, but I worry that

@PaintDrinkingPete: Agreed, when food isn't enjoyable, there's really no point in living anyways. With that being said, give fresh wheat pasta a try. I used to hate wheat pasta until I discovered a local pasta maker who made it actually work. It didn't suck—the flavor was spot on, and more importantly, the texture

@Oranges w/ Cheese has 2 cats! ahahaha.: Shorting or butter will help with the crust. If you want a good sandwich bread, use this recipe [www.kingarthurflour.com] in a Pullman Pan to get a softer crust. It's white flour, so it doesn't really fit in with this article, but it'll give you a good start and you can
