@mrsilver: There's no good XBMC w/ Media Center support. You could use the HDHomeRun [www.silicondust.com] It's got some decent XBMC support. However, I don't think you'll find a rock solid TV solution at the moment. You could setup XBMC to launch Win MC, but that's the best I see. #xbmc

@RelativeRon: It depends on the type of cheese. Some cheese turn very crumbly after freezing. Others just turn to junk (try freezing brie). I have found that mild block cheeses and shredded cheeses freeze well. #storage

This post made me take a renewed look at Chrome. I'm really happy with the available extensions and greasmonkey support in the latest dev build. Their next stable might give my beloved Firefox a run for its money. #googlechrome

If I'm really bored, I'll watch commercials. This especially holds true if I'm home sick. At that point, I just don't care enough to bother hitting the FF button. Otherwise, commercials have sucked as of late and I don't want to watch them. If commercials had more humor and entertainment value, I would give it a

@Ender15: We're in the same boat. I wish there was a good option to get my DS onto my network with ease. #wifi

@ben: I think some of the American auto woes is due to service. The experience I receive from the dealer when I get regular maintenance on my cars differs greatly among the foreign and US auto makers. Toyota, Honda, and VW all provide a top-notch experience. The Ford and GM dealers (can't speak for Chrysler) still

@sir_pantsalot: The 1999 Malibu sucked. The 2009 Malibu is actually pretty good. I'm not a fanboy for any car manufacturer, but I think GM built a good platform with that car. If they use the Malibu platform for multiple car styles, they will starting churning out some better autos. #automobiles

@justsomereportingguy: No problem. It started on the original Xbox as "Xbox Media Player" and it was just an app that played video and music files. Eventually it transformed into an open source media center. But eventually, the Xbox just couldn't keep up with the power needed to drive high-def movies. At that

@r0ckstarferlife: I'm not so worried about Hulu and I've used Boxee in the past. I've been using XBMC on my old Xbox all the way back to when it was called Xbox Media Player. It's the best HTPC software out there, IMO. Boxee might become a better solution if it ever gets linux gpu flash acceleration. #feature

@AndyMan1: I'm waiting on the EB1501 as well. I don't know how long I can wait though. If it doesn't hit the stores soon, I might just get the Revo with the 330 Atom processor next month. #feature

@justsomereportingguy: There are linux, mac, and windows flavors available, so you can use it on a PC. I like the linux version the best, wich you can setup on a PC using the instructions in this article. You should also check out Boxee, which is based on XBMC. #feature

This is great... I'm planning on doing this exact setup next month. #feature

@tande04: I don't get that part of the complaint. The rest of the web seems to say a firmware update already fixed that flaw. #android20onhtchero

@AmphetamineCrown: You actually don't need much, but you do need iodine or else your thyroid goes haywire. Too little iodine can be a problem, and too much can be a problem. From what I recall, you need about 100 mcg of Iodine a day (don't quote me on that) to avoid a deficiency. I'm not sure what the max limit

@unruled: I pulled an ass-u-me :( I thought by talking about rock salt in conjunction with grinding pepper, you were talking about a salt mill. Oh well, it seems we agree that good salt = better cooking. Hooray! #cooking

@unruled: I disagree. Fresh ground pepper retains a lot of the oils and aromas that one cannot obtain with pre-ground pepper options. In general, salt is the same regardless of the time it is ground. The issue isn't timing, but how the manufacturer processes the salt. For instance, many people simply settle for

@moe52: I have both the Chef's Choice and the Accusharp. The Accusharp wins hands down. the Chef's choice changes the edge on all your knives, which is not ideal. It'll get them razor sharp, but you'll have a different edge than you intended. The Accusharp does amazing, doesn't wreck the edge, and it's freaking

Yep, I think I'll stop using Hulu. I'll let my DVR grab what it can and leave it at that. It's not worth paying a convenience charge for this sort of thing. #hulu
