@eeefresh: I used to canvasing work for local campaigns and found a few people who base their decision on which candidate/issue had more signs. It's scary.

@imdante: From what I can tell in the forums, it's in the works. Initially, there was no way to support the rtmp protocol that Hulu uses. Apparently that's not an issue now, but XBMC is in a feature freeze. Unless someone can script it as an add on, I don't expect to see it in XBMC until after the next official

Vote: jZip. It handles everything quite well.

@Confuzius: Thanks for posting this... I like it. I like the new dark-room theme too, but I'm going to install Shiki-Colors as soon as I get home.

@MichaelBrazell: It does sound bogus. I'm interested to see this study, but I have a suspicion that the results merely reflect a correlation and are not causal. I feel like this is similar to how research can suggest that ice cream causes drownings since ice cream sales rise with increases in drownings. [en.wikipedi

@TommySez: I disagree. I'm not sure about how your market packages mushrooms, but the markets in my area wrap them in nearly air-tight containers that will ultimately yield slimy mushrooms. Even pulling the plastic off these containers have never helped me. Mushrooms grow in cool/humid environments. Storing them in

@SamburgerHandwich: I'm not arguing, this is an honest question: How often do you actually see those sorts of errors with Ubuntu? I gave up on Linux in 1998 (used RedHat) because of those issues, but I returned with Ubuntu Gutsy and have not seen such problems on any of my computers, one of which was that same

@haxxed: So you essentially advocate furthering a discussion based in racism? You can talk about about a bleeding vagina all you want, but your suggesting that it's ok to be racist and to associate with such discussions for the sole purpose of playing tough guy conversationalist. Since this is about racist jokes at

Or you can just say, "Oh my God, I can't believe you just said that. I need to leave." That's usually enough..

I love that guy! I've watched the Thunder Show a number of times and he's always ridiculously excited. He did give a good tip though. I started using the "slide technique" after seeing a bartender using it. It doesn't work all the time, but it's a good tip.

Vote: Handbrake

@Hands: That's what kills me about everyone selling. We have a few people at my work trying to get out of the 401(k) when they aren't even close to retirement. Now's the time to buy (if you can), not sell. Folks only lose money when they sell.

Money aside, I'm happy I purchased a home. My purchase helped me learn a lot of great DIY skills. I now can wire a room's electrical properly, I can frame walls, do basic plumbing, install tile, and a bunch of other things that come with renovating a house. It was a lot of work that came with a lot of pride. Plus,

I actually like standing in line; especially during presidential elections. Most of the people I have encountered in line are fun.

I'm not a fan—especially of the contracts involved with getting an application in the app store. They force everyone into adhesion contracts that give Apple free reign to do whatever they want to ensure the apps are locked into the app store. If apple doesn't like the app, too bad for the developer. It's BS.

@Gina Trapani: That's great to hear! I hope the campaign works.

@sturgman: Sure, I'll be over with a sheet of plywood and a couple sawhorses in a little bit. :)

@suprfli: I'm quite harsh with people who grab my shoulder in a conversation. I don't even like my friends grab my shoulder.
