@Terry: The poster's mention of killing infants for mobility was referring to pre-agriculture days—caveman days. While I cannot cite anything, I recall a History Channel special that noted most packs of people, which were not large, saw low childbirth rates. Where childbirth did occur, it was not uncommon for babies

@fogmaster: Agreed, you have a useful site. I was thinking of getting something going in my garage to continue my small garden running through the winter. Your site has a lot of great tips. I probably won't have enough time to implement a good setup this year, but I'll have enough info to be successful next year.

Convergence is nice; however, I don't want a web-based OS utilizing mostly web-based apps until I can stand in the middle of nowhere with my laptop and get reliable internet. With that being said, Chrome is just a browser and that's it. Thinking about what it could do five years down the road doesn't do much for now.

Vote: Vuze/Azureus as a CLI-based, headless system. see [ubuntuforums.org] I love my headless torrent server.

@Aloof: I've heard the same thing.

I would rather not have either of the two options.

This is cool. I also just noticed a Mark As Read button in Gmail Labs as well. I like the direction Gmail Labs seems to be taking.

Vote: Google calendar

@Greg McMullin: I just unchecked all the boxes and didn't bother putting in my email address. It let me download it without an issue.

7Zip was giving me problems with certain RAR files. So, I've been using jZip and it's been working well. It is unobtrusive. [www.jzip.com]

This would be neat if it could include compatibility with the Glasser extension and properly format the tabs on the top. It is a very clean look though.

While sources for music info seems plentiful, I hope this gets integrated into tagging applications as I welcome anything that makes library organization easier.

Mostly I use Firefox 3's built in download manager; but, on occasion I will use DTA. So...

I kind of like it so far. The interface is clean and it's quite the speedy browser. It's not going to be my main browser any time soon, but I'm eager to see how this one progresses.

@Git Em SteveDave is starless: I was at a party where someone brought wine and we opened it by pushing the cork into the bottle. It made a huge mess—wine sprayed everywhere.

Even though it's not Plex dependent and is just a skin... It is a nice skin. I've been running it on my Xbox. It's still incomplete and I hope the final works well.

I only use Adblock for sites that have invasive ads, but the site has info I need. I try to support sites that I enjoy on a regular basis. I also use it to remove elements that make a site unappealing. For example I blocked a lot of the new Lifehacker header.
