@t3knomanser: That's a good suggestion. When I deal with resumes, I want to see work history and experience on the first page so I can make a quick decision whether a phone screening is necessary. However, I love to have additional info to use during a face-to-face interview. The best one I've seen involved a one

It's not working for me on FF3 RC1. I went to [www.quirksmode.org] and found my browser is reporting itself as You're using Netscape 5 on an unknown OS! when using the User Agent Switcher with the iPhone settings.

Good article. I would like to add that if you are going to BBQ a chicken, soak it in a brine solution for 24 hours. I used the brine in this recipe [www.cooking.com] once and the turkey was amazing.

@WiglyWorm: I tried a different defrag program for a few months in Vista and never found any noticeable difference in performance. Though, I never found any data problems either. I think you would be safe to try this app, but I would question its utility in Vista.

I wasn't a huge fan of the theme when I installed it to my Vista system, but I've come to like it after installing the Glasser extension: [forums.mozillazine.org]

@toneotom: Disable extension compatibility checking and greasemonky will work like a charm. I recommend you use nightly tester tools to accomplish this one [addons.mozilla.org] .

@jtimberman: All true, but the law does not prohibit other undefined entities from following the same guidelines when dealing with protected health information. Like many laws, HIPAA merely sets the bar, but does not prohibit one from being more proactive. Keeping track of one's individual health info is a great

This was pretty cool until I figured out it had sound.

I dropped it into my bank account, but in my head this money is going towards my next mortgage payment. Thought I might pretend it's getting used to buy gas as I think my monthly payment to feed the car will grow beyond a mortgage payment soon.

I use bookmarks when I find a new site I like but will most likely forget the address. I also have a few sites in the Firefox bookmark toolbar for quick access. Otherwise, I just use the address bar and type in addresses from memory. Not that my memory is all that amazing—I just don't visit a vast amount of sites.

@takemetoyourtoaster: Once you download the skin, extract and upload it to /xbmc/skins. You then just have to go to the settings menu, select appearance, and then select the skin of your choice. Once you select the skin it should be your default until you change it to something else in the settings.

@jkrell: I haven't used the OSX version either (I have no mac). But, the Linux version works well for me—I've had less problems in Linux than on the XBox. Try the LiveXBMC build of the linux port. It provides a good test for basic use and runs from a USB stick. [xbmc.org] I think the Mac version is probably

@bigb0b: It should. I play iso's all the time on my Xbox. I tested it out on the Linux port and the iso files worked there too.

When I was using XP, I had the address bar and quick launch at the top of my screen with auto-hide enabled. Now that I'm in Vista I just have Rocket Dock at the top of my screen set to auto hide. I no longer need the address bar since I can type in locations and web addresses into the search box within the start

I've had it for a week now and I like it. To be honest, I've been using Facebook more like an email/chat system lately. If Facebook and GMail were integrated in a useful fashion, I would probably start using Facebook as my main email system. Which seems odd now that I think about it—that concept makes me think of

I used to have a horrible time waking up during my undergrad years. The solution was an MP3 alarm clock with the sound of a rooster crow. I hate that noise and it woke me up without fail.

Nice work on the article's pic. That kid needs his own television show.

This would be nice for herbs in my kitchen.
