I keep seeing comments about how trains are good because of the people you meet. Question 1: Who the hell wants to meet people when they travel and Question 2: Can we confine those people solely to train travel so none of the rest of us have to deal with them?

Seems like there should be some onus on EV carmakers to include an onboard extinguisher system to help deal with this issue. If heat buildup and thermal runaway are the issue, maybe some kind of C02 system to try and cool the battery as much as possible?
