The most important metric for a Taycan buyer is range?  Do you hear 911 owners complain about MPG? I think you’re missing the point.

While I know some people have an illogical range anxiety issue, what are the odds that anyone that buys this car is actually going to drive it 200 miles?

I think there’s been a perception that the Tesla Model S is a luxury car in the same sense that a BMW or Mercedes is. It’s never been anything more than the Camry/Accord of EVs, so the Taykan being a lot nicer isn’t surprising.
