I’d be surprised this doesn’t happen more often. The way these Porsche dealers operate, the whole “pay us now and you *might* get a car in a couple of years” thing, it is just an open invitation for criminals.

The GT allocation system was hot ground for something like this to happen, Dealerships have been taking advantage of the situation for a while  and Porsche has been smiling all along knowing Dealer happy=Porsche happy.
