It always amazes me how they can take pictures of Dodges without mechanics in the frame.

My toaster is better designed.

I went from Tampa, FL to Anchorage, AK in a Saab 9-7x. Drove the whole way. It worked out well. Until I moved back to the lower 48 and summers led to the Vortec v8 case oil leaks.

That is not a bad idea. In fact, it’s a great idea for us watching!

A small Ford Pick up truck for under 20 grand? I’d get one. So useful.

I, too, didn’t catch the Honda in your story wasn’t a manual. So I was confused. I do agree that people need to learn a little bit about a lot of things; so they don’t cheated by repairmen, so they can fix things and save money, so they can fix things in a pinch, etc.

The Dodge Journey seems to be perfect for what it is: throw away after the factory warranty expires.

Cayman GTS, Soon to come out with a 4.0 version, for the same price....

I still don’t like high-powered station-wagons. But I’m all for high-powered SUVs!

The prior version looks more, “turboey,” than this one in the front fascia.

Well. Now I know what I’m doing this weekend.

Kill it with fire. Oil leaks should help.

Right, but how will this be better than a Cayman?

Done already in a Porsche Cayman. Can Lotus out-do it? Probably, not.

CP. Back suspension looks like he’s still transporting 400 lbs of meth.

Pretty much this.

Yep. Dealers are still making money on you no matter how much of a “deal” you got.

Thanks for being on Jalopnik. Truly the best place for snarky car-lovers. I still don’t frickin like high-powered station wagons though.

Alfa ventilators will be in the maintenance shop most of the time.

Toyota ventilators will be reasonably priced, dependable and have good resale value.
