I honestly believe GameFreak gets away with it just because this is Pokemon. Because of course, who doesn’t love the idea of exploring the world and finding a Jigglypuff in the wild?

Best I could think of is that a game developer consumes a lot of electricity from rendering 3D models? You can blame the hardware for the low framerates or textures not loading but all the other bugs and glitches like arms turning into noodles or falling off the map seem to point that the game needed more time in the oven.

While fifa may be corrupt, I don’t think we should just cut all references to footbal as a sport. A fan that wants to showcase their teams colors can do so with this bootleg set without their money being indirectly sent to fifa as licence fees. I don’t think it’s that terrible of an idea.

It’s less a bug rather an unexpected interaction between 2 mechanics. The despawning must be to save resources and prevent wild pokemon to interrupt the picnic. Will they remove shinies from outbreaks altogether or just let it be? It’ll be interesting to see how they tackle this.
