But hey, you’ll be able to buy 25 more death animations to also play at 12fps soon!

The argument would easily be solved if Nintendo/GameFreak weren’t cryptic with the patch notes.

I honestly believe GameFreak gets away with it just because this is Pokemon. Because of course, who doesn’t love the idea of exploring the world and finding a Jigglypuff in the wild?

They really should’ve said they finally bought a dictionary and realized they were using the wrong tem all this time and leave it at that, no need to try to overjustify the change when, social issues aside, the term was already wrong on a technical level.

If anything, rather than Chris Pratt one thing that worries me when I watch the trailer for Mario, every scene is just “look, it’s that thing from the games!” which is cool for us gamers but will it win general audiences?

They are both similar and rather insignificant on their own but I’d quote the article

It’s still weirdly redacted. Is it like new deaths from new traps/weapons/enemy types or like... you shoot an enemy and there’s a 50/50 chance to play a different death animation? From this article my understanding is that it’s the later and the tweet doesn’t do much to clarify it.

We may not use discs anymore, but aren day-1 DLC essentially the virtual version of this? Content for the game that’s already working and was probably done along main development... but sold separatedly.

It’s the skyrim/bethesda effect. It just works.

Best I could think of is that a game developer consumes a lot of electricity from rendering 3D models? But like, it’s the GPU designes the one that need to make less power hungry GPUs and the government to improve their energy grid with greener sourcers... not really the developer’s fault. What else can they do other

You can blame the hardware for the low framerates or textures not loading but all the other bugs and glitches like arms turning into noodles or falling off the map seem to point that the game needed more time in the oven.

How to convince investors NOT to fund your sequel: publicly tell the fans to stop buying your games.

While fifa may be corrupt, I don’t think we should just cut all references to footbal as a sport. A fan that wants to showcase their teams colors can do so with this bootleg set without their money being indirectly sent to fifa as licence fees. I don’t think it’s that terrible of an idea.

What does send mixed signals

It’s less a bug rather an unexpected interaction between 2 mechanics. The despawning must be to save resources and prevent wild pokemon to interrupt the picnic. Will they remove shinies from outbreaks altogether or just let it be? It’ll be interesting to see how they tackle this.

I’m not gonna defend the dude but it’s still weird that someone would sit through a decade of tweets trying to finding nasty stuff.

If anything, developers Infinity Ward need to patch these exploits out of the game if the studio doesn’t want this to become the new meta.

I guess they are totally in their right to push whathever creative vision they have for their own game but I don’t think anyone would care if Harry’s ingame model doesn’t look like Scott. Is there anyone that goes “omg the character looks exactly like the voice actor, this has enhanced my experience!” ?

It just feels

Ya, for all the crap Blizzard does both to it’s own employees and to it’s playerbase, I don’t see them making a decision that would hurt them financially so lightly

The cynic in me can’t see this as anything else than just a publicity stunt, a how do you, fellow gamers.

If there aren’t enough money sinks, they could you know... develop new mechanics that consume it instead of increasing taxes. Dunno, sell a fancy sword or armor for 9999999 gold or whathever.
