At least you're honest about it.
At least you're honest about it.
But WAAAAY too many of those are BROWN PEOPLE, OMG, clutches pearls. We need ‘Murican white babies!
Just curious, why do you hate minivans? I grew up riding in a Dodge caravan with only one sliding door and loved it. I gots me two kids myself and I shuttle them around in my Mazda5. Love the minivan, sliding doors are the best.
Easier to get in and out of a wagon, I’m 5'11 and always scuff my pant legs when climbing out of SUVs. Also far easier to lift heavy objects into a low wagon floor.
SUVs actually make me less confident thanks to their shitty dynamics, wide turning radius and poor visibility. Add in difficulty of ingress/egress and bus-like upright seating position, and you’ll never catch me dead in an SUV, unless I actually go off-roading. My 9-5 wagon has 72 cu.ft. of cargo space (which is more…
Hey, don’t knock light grey, dark grey, and grey grey.
I just don’t see what an SUV would get me that a similar sized hatchback or wagon doesn’t. The same space is there, the same ability to haul stuff, etc. Then again, as a 32 year old unmarried with no kids and only a dog as a passenger, I realize I’m kind of a special case. Hell, even the safety argument doesn’t matter…
Anything in the survey about how Americans are perfectly satisfied with 3 colors besides white and black?
It’s refreshing to see a game that emphasizes single player story focused gameplay. They’re not exactly crazy rare but feel more special than they used to.
I see like eight different parting lines in there, plus threaded inserts, plus it’s hollow so it either has to have air blown in or some kind of crazy collapsing core. Plus there’s probably conformal cooling in the mold.
I work in related industry. Looks like 2 pieces welded together. Each of those hose connections, and electrical connections requires multiple pieces of the mold that move independently. If we had high res pics we might be able to see all the flashing lines. This is the most intricate piece I have ever seen.
But, I…
But like, chill, dude. It says right on the bottle. C h i l l .
So, it’s neglected in the other diagrams but the top diagram shows that the chiller is just another evaporator on the ac system. It’s dumping heat into the condenser, not the radiator. Sure, there’s small heat transfer to the radiator but should be pretty negligible. That allows coolant temp to run below air temp as a …
Ok, maybe when the thing is charging out in very high heat where the radiator delta T would be too low to keep the cells cools enough while charging? The chiller would boost that delta T to the outside temps allowing the system to actually remove heat from the system.
I know someone who works for the manufacturer of these bottles and he says the injection tool is the most complex he’s ever seen.
Yea because its the engineers job to design a system that lasts longer than a human without any servicing. If you want “bullet proof” but a Caterpillar. But even those need regular servicing.
Yeah, because no car company has ever used plastic in their cooling system before...
Yes, delivery vans are a good use case for BEVs. Your typical delivery van drives less than 100 miles in a day, spends much of its time idling, and is back at the depot each night, where it could be recharged.
How many more concepts are we going to get before the production model? I say 357.
Meanwhile, lurking in the background, a disgruntled driver who thought this was a Cars & Coffee, looks for a place to crash for the night.
