People want to see nice cars at a show, not someone’s greasy fingerprints. Don’t ruin everyone else’s view.

Such a shame Mazda only campaigned it for 1 year, and like at Le Mans they competed with a much smaller budget than other factory teams. Also similar to last year with the RT24-P did the big wigs expect wins and a new car not to have teething problems?
I would have hired the guy who brings one of those big lawn bags.
Yep, first gens had a light in the dash and a sensor under the passenger seat. I never understood why the FD had the light under the driver’s elbow.
Put it in the new hypercar class at Le Mans!
At first I thought this was a ploy to get a patsy getaway driver for a bank job, but an XM can’t get away from anything.
The engine is in the middle, but it’s a tube frame racer so it won’t work well as a road car like the Ford GT. The Daytona Prototype was America holding out on making carbon tub cars.
It’s not only the seals wearing out, but also the rotor housing they spin around in that takes a beating and can’t be resurfaced like honing a cylinder. A couple of businesses offer resurfacing, but I think the jury is still out.
It’s a volt meter with the key in the “on” position before the engine is started.
I don’t even care if it’s an ST, just give me a 3 door.
Orido likes dog boxes.
I’m surprised Jay doesn’t know about Sevenstock, considering his Cosmo is well known and I thought he would have chatted with Mazda’s crew at the Monterrey Historics.
That paragraph from Autoweek is talking about the engines altogether in the WeatherTech Prototype class. The idea a couple years ago was that LMP2 would be a baseline to match against so there would be the chance of a DPi going to Le Mans as well as get more American teams into LMP2.
I would put in the effort for a car I actually like, but for a beater don’t make me remove the radiator.
I considered an LS400 for a daily beater a little while ago, but that fell apart when I looked at the timing belt procedure. screw that
I’d say a wall of corn, but then there’d be a fauna problem.
You want your wife to shit the bed?
FIA WRX does 4 laps in qualifying rounds, then 6 laps in the finals.
It was a big trend a little over 10 years ago mainly in D1.
I know, and it’s the only one named after part of the bird. Most companies have a theme with their names.
