You’d be surprised, it’s rare the police can pull any speed data from a car’s computer. They don’t usually operate like an airplane’s black boxes.

Just watched it, you’re right. He was doing at least 45-50. That old guy never should have pulled out in front of him.

I couldn’t watch the video yesterday, but yeah, he was easily doing 45-50 at the point of impact.

I can guarantee you if the Z06 made 655hp GM would advertise it at 655hp. Most likely the higher numbers are due to variations in the dyno, engine temperature, and possibly more efficient drive trains than we’re used to. The engine could still be at 650hp but an extra 10 is making it to the wheels because of less

Thank you for the link. The surveillance video could prove key, but I don’t know how much I’d trust eyewitnesses when it comes to judging the speed of a yellow Lamborghini. Surely the accident investigators can estimate his speed based on the accident damage and any skid marks. Let’s see what they have to say.

There’s no proof of drunk driving here.

“It’s not about politics”

Wow, that looks incredibly stupid. I’m guessing every time they got above 550hp the block shattered into a million pieces.

So we can condemn people for their past actions as long as they’re white millionaires, but everyone else has “put it behind them “ and is “turning over a new leaf” and “wouldn’t hurt a fly”.

8 hours per week doesn’t really seem like much, that’s just over an hour per night. As the author states, it seems like video game time would just be taking over from other activities that were more popular before videogames, not work. Then you realize that this is an average, and likely those other activities

Owner: “Yes, I’d like a complete, authentic restoration on my Ferrari.”

Gotcha, makes perfect sense.

Those mostly affect the ET, though. MPH is a fairly accurate indicator of the power the car is making at the given atmospheric conditions, then you correct back to standard conditions and you’re pretty close.

Now playing

Not sure how to share it, but here you go:

Of course they’ll make one with the ZR1 V8, I’m surprised they haven’t already. The real question is if they’ll sell it in the US. I’m guessing not, sadly.

.5 seconds is roughly 50hp though (obviously depending on a ton of other factors), so there could be differences.

So you never got a dyno tune on it after installation? Just road tuning? Bold.

Yeah, it’s pretty obvious what’s going on here. Since they apparently dyno a lot of Fords, they should rename their dyno the EgoBoost.

Put them on this dyno and they’ll be reading 20hp over the crank hp.
