Nope......

What are you talking about, on most cars, you slap the stick next to the D and then it’s + to upshift and - to downs shift. Driving a manual is not that hard at all.

Not only is this a NP with Jalop. money but if I had a need (even if I didn’t have a need but it was local) I would go check this out. NP!

Car is doing better than I thought it would be....only 85% ND

I have always been a fan of Mazda because all of their cars tend to have a sporty feel, sort of like BMWs Non-M products when they truly were the “Ultimate Driving Machines”. While it would be nice to have “Mazda Speed”, we all know the company is struggling a bit and I’ll be happy if Mazda can stay a float and

I know BMWs design trend is that large “grill” but I think I would have taken this opportunity to do something different here.....considering that this design isn’t really appealing.....too bad, the rest isn’t bad.

and it has an interior hole in said trunk to fit longer rich-people hobby items like a pair of skis.” You mean that’s not there to carry 2x4's from Home Depot?

197? Either a Datsun Z or Ford Bronco......or 911. Can you ever be wrong with a 911?

My parents had an ‘88 Cutlass Supreme (not the classic but the modern, FWD) with the same engine. I agree, for 125 HP, they felt quicker than they had any right to. All I could think of is they were much lighter than 200 HP car of today.

Mine was the dark red on dark red velour...very period correct for GM of the time.

I voted NP, only because for sentimental reasons. I had a ‘93 Cutlass Ciera and as much as I hated to it then, I miss it now and wish I’d had treated it better. It wasn’t much to look at but it was comfortable, reliable and easy to maintain while offering all the technology the ‘80s had.

Congratulations on the Boxster. So my hardest part of owning a water cooled vintage Porsche is parts. When I needed to buy parts for my BMW, I feel like a few Google searches and I could source some “fair” prices. I’ve noticed that finding parts for Porsches are not as wide spread as they are for BMW.

One of my pet conspiracy theories is that Super Cruise’s camera is there to protect GM when you crash using Super Cruise and GM needs to prove that you weren’t paying attention.”

My 2001 BMW 330Ci - Loved it. Tree fell on it and I should have let go of it. I didn’t. I tried to fix it but had a shoddy shop do it on the cheap. You get what you pay for. I let it go.....

NP.

This option is one of Doug Demuro favorite Q&F.

I was literally thinking “too nice for Dave” right before I read it....get out of my head!

You are correct - the manual is only available on the 911 S......for now.

I’ll be honest with you - once they announced the Alfa Giulia wouldn’t have a manual option and the new 3 Series said they wouldn’t offer one either, it’s pretty much the end. Glad Porsche didn’t abandon it with the new 911, but I can see this being a swan song.

I remember this commercial....I feel old!
