I don’t think you’d end up junking it. You might loose value but a wagon, with a manual and a W-8....take care of it and you’ll find a buyer. Someone would be willing to try and DIY - Call Hoovie.

Thank you for saying this. It’s not NYC trying to kill bike riders its bike riders not following the rules and getting hurt. Traffic signs are for all who share the roads and must be obeyed by cyclist. But in NYC, they don’t. They don’t stop, the don’t follow the direction of traffic, they don’t heed to pedestrians. I…
I don’t know guys - I have heard the horrors of working on this car but at under 7K for a W8......I’d seriously buy it just go tool around in for a few months and then sell it.....make sure I say a prayer every night that nothing would blow......NP but maybe I don’t understand what I’d be getting into.
Pre-Bat/C&B, I would say CP, but based on how some of these cars sell I think NP. The prices some of these cars go for surprise me.
I was hoping it was because the Next 7 would be on the RR platform, but I suspect you’re right and/or the next 7 will be on shared with the 5 series.....Plebeians.
It needs to stay a two seater. I do not want to hear complaints that “it could use more luggage space” or “it needs back seats” because the next iteration will a Nissan Rogue with a Zish nose.
As soon as I saw the first picture, the expression “putting lipstick on a pig” came to mind.
How could the chart for the “Nice Price or Not” have 4 choices on the chart?
So two thoughts here. 2022 - is that the year this comes out, or will it come in 2021 as a 2022?
I have a feeling you’re right and I think people are too sensitive. I blame this on all those “participation” trophies they started giving out to kids for just showing up so they wouldn’t get their feelings hurt.....
Why did you change the name of this poll?
IDK - in the late 60s /early 70s, everyone wanted a muscle car. They hauled their family in it but style came before function. Okay, speed came before function......
CP: If they won’t spring for a car wash & a vacuum, then what else has been skimped on. This is a box of problems waiting to happen.
If you enjoy cars (crappy or otherwise) you need to be able to support the habit. This is sort of like buying a 20 year old high end sports car because it’s cheap only to be surprised at how expensive the maintenance is. There is more to buying a car than the initial cost of purchase. If you can’t maintain it (or…
There was a time that cars were a way for people to express themselves. They had style and presence. The highways have always been filled with the “sedan” that got people where they needed to be but when a special car drove by, you stopped, took notice and would say “someday!”
It was a joke. I wouldn’t limit large purchases if I know my life will change in 3, 5, 10+ years...but why are people flocking to SUVs & CUVs - I live in NY. My wife drives a CUV I have a Sedan. Do we need two SUVs because it might snow? We need more room, we take her car but most of the time my car is enough.
You just said it. It fills the needs of most people, but they’re not buying it.
I didn’t follow the FJ that closely but it didn’t seem overpriced. The FJ was softer than the Jeep so it didn’t appeal to the hard core crowd but I think 90% of the people would have rather had the comfort of the FJ - I think timing impacted the FJ more than price.
I like the Blazer. I think it’s too expensive but I like the idea of a sporty CUV from Chevy. I think many of you would agree that the concept of a sporty CUV works - the rub is that they called it a “Blazer”. Had this been the Equinox Sport, no problem.
I watch Vettel race and think he’s done. Then the following race, he’ll pick through the field like he has a 200 HP advantage. I think he’s good but not consistent. I’ll admit that I’m new to F1 racing and this could be Ferrari’s fault....but I don’t think so. His pettiness with his teammate annoys me.
