With $70K to play with, why not a play thing and a family hauler? Cayman??

Lincoln seems to have hit the mark with the Navigator and Nautilus. I know a new Escalade is on the way but the XT-4 and XT-6 haven’t received glowing reviews. Reviews mean nothing so I guess we’ll see in the next couple of months/years where it all shakes out.
The SS & G8 were not midsized, but they had an LS and were reasonably priced. They should have sold (and perhaps the G8 would have if Pontiac would have survived) but GM put no effort into marketing the SS.
I don’t know if that would have worked. Didn’t work for the Chevy SS, didn’t work for the G8, didn’t work for the GTO.
Hope they had Farmer’s insurance....I heard they’ve seen everything.
What a clean, simple design. I know a German brand that should take note.
“I’m not sure how I feel about it here.”
Wait - VW is not bring this to America?
My intent was not to body shame the person in the picture and I am sorry if it came off that way.
Looks more like Vodka than Sandwiches.
Interesting position she’s in....does the Zastava 750 have a side exhaust?
“The big change was that every 991.2 911 now had a turbocharger, whether it said Carrera or Turbo on the back”
I think the 308 was beautiful, the Mondial, not so much. I think I’d rather the MR-2.
I feel that there could be a better way - instead of a 340i S-Drive, couldn’t we call this a 330iS or 330i T? But I think that ship has sailed. I think “Turbo” should only be used on a car that has a Turbo.
Jason, I agree with you and think this looks really good and its a shame it’s not coming here. That said, I don’t know if that’s a mistake on Honda’s part. Our SUV crazed country probably would reject this little toy.
I think it’s time the German companies put an end to this false naming convention. The Numbers and letters in a naming convention should stand for something real. If I am shopping a 340i, it should be the smallest BMW Sedan and have a 4 ltr. engine, not a 3 ltr. with the “Power of a 4ltr.” If the car has “Turbo” in…
I’d rather drive a coupe than a sedan but I have 2 kids and the rear doors - when they were little, it was easier to put them in car seats and now they can get themselves in and out. Sounds like you have a nice compromise with the RX-8.
I always thought it was the timing of when the product came out. If the X5 and 5 Series came out at the same time, the technology would be the same. There’s no point in supporting old tech (or at least I don’t think there is). At one point, I think companies thought that you could get away with having the CUV lag…
Sorry it took me so long, long weekend. I have it, E90 335i Sp Pck, 6 speed manual.
You’re right, lowering a CUV wouldn’t turn everything into a wagon - but it would lower the COG and make it handle better. Does anyone buy a wagon to track it?
