An M5 has 600 hp, an X5M has 567...” I love power but those are both high numbers - I’m not going to cry over the lose of 33 h/p. The X5 M isn’t an all out M Car (I don’t care what anyone tells me and the M5 should have more track focused bells and whistles).

Just about every CUV is based on a sedan platform. The seating position is intentionally raised because people prefer it over the lowered position that sedans have (My wife, a non car person tells me all the time).

People want wagons...except they want to ones they can’t have, not the ones they can.

Totally agree with you - There’s no point to an M SUV (or AMG or Turbo S) except for bragging rights (quick aside - BMW won’t give people an M Z4, because it doesn’t make “sense” but an M SUV does....)

I agree that you’ll feel the weight difference. I also never meant to imply one was better looking than the other. I’m just saying I don’t see this appeal for Wagons vs. CUVs. In my mind, you get a wagon or CUV because you need the utility. Neither (in my mind) is a track weapon. If you’re getting one of these, you

Why not a minivan?

Admittedly, I haven’t driven many SUVs (or Wagons) so maybe I should. But is an X3 X-Drive 3.0 and a 328 X-Drive really going to feel that different?

I can’t disagree, everyone’s taste will differ and something I find appealing may not appeal to others. I also get the benefits of the added utility that a wagon offers over their sedan counterpart.

I know I’m going to get a lot of hate for this but I’m going to say it, I don’t get peoples love affair with Wagons. I just don’t. Wagons were the cars that parents drove in the ‘70s and uncool at the time, only to be replaced by minivans in the ‘80s & ‘90s. The only thing that baffles me more is that people, who

Me thinks you’re looking at the earlier ones or please show me where you’re finding these at $3,500. The ‘90 300ZX TT, are not that cheap.

Truly sad to hear about her passing. My condolences to her family. I’ve watched her on a bunch of shows but most remember her on Trucks! and All Girls Garage. Way too young!

The 300ZX will always have a spot in my heart. This one is a bit rough but I still vote NP for its timeless design.

I know everyone is calling this a CP, but these seem to be holding their value. the ask is not that unreasonable. It’s not cheap but I think it’s a fair deal for what seems to be a clean, high mileage FJ.

Sounds like she’s looking for something with “...AWD but is smaller than a RAV4?”and she test drove the Honda HR-V......I think the CX-3 is perfect.

Mazda CX-3?

I don’t understand how this could be trending “CP”.

Two things here - clearly this car is channeling VW’s past, I mean add a roll hoop and it’s a modern day Cabrio that our youth missed out on. Secondly, the T-Roc needs to come to America. The stupidest thing that VW could do is not bring the T-Roc (a country that can’t get enough small CUVs) to America*.

Are GM And VW Making The Right Choice?

“The only car dying today truly worth shedding a tear over is the 6 Series Gran Coupe...”

I can honestly say that I cannot recall seeing a C7 Corvette with chrome wheels.
