I just assume none of them are connected....the 5% that are connected, buzz in some poor guy’s basement and he has no idea what that noise is.

In NYC we know that button’s not connected to anything.

I like this.....a lot......

I thought the front of the 996 was fine and honestly, never bothered by the “fried egg” headlights. The interior is what I can’t get past. Forget plasticy, the design, with it’s weird cuts and angles, makes it look dated and always reminds me of the late 90's Ford Focus and Taurus. That’s what held me back from buying

I was hesitant to suggest it - Great looking car but unless he’s willing to get his hands dirty, the reliability scares me a bit.  I think the MR2 is the the best option. (Or Miata).

MR2 Spyder? Audi TT Convertible....

I have faith that you can finish, you always do.

Maybe they could call this the Mustang II?

I take the LIRR in to work - my commute is 35 minutes. If I were to take a subway, my commute would double (maybe more). The LIRR is more expensive than the Subway but I’m willing to suck it up because of the convenience. Driving in would be too expensive to park (although I could probably get a deal with a parking

Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think people who drive into NY will migrate to Mass Transit because of this (maybe I’m wrong - wouldn’t be the first time). I agree that the roads are crowded but I don’t think there are a lot of people who drive themselves into the city - the only cars I see are Yellow Cabs and Ubers. Look

Do you think people who drive in will suddenly stop to take the trains, which have been documented to be crap?

I don’t drive into the city, I take the LIRR - I avoid subways whenever possible (luckily I can walk to my office from Penn.)

You’re right.....

I don’t see this reducing congestion. People will complain but ultimately, they like the luxury of driving in and will just cave and pay.

Fair point.

Not all bridges are free...

Though the exact details of such a plan have yet to be ironed out, it’s estimated that a traffic surcharge could generate as much as $15 billion through 2024—money that could then be used to fix the subway, among other things.”

Am I the only one who thinks its wrong that they are charging people who drive into Manhattan to pay for the crumbling infrastructure of the Subway system?

I hate the “round” port window in the hard top on these....I have to CP it....

I’ll be honest with you, I’ve had my car 11 years and although I put it off, I think I need a shampooer and deep clean for my car. I generally don’t eat in my car but after 11 years (+3 from the previous owner) I’d like to do a deep clean.
