The Captain America one makes me smile: “AAAAaaaabbbzzzz!”

Somehow I have a feeling people are going to be disappointed...

I don’t think that’s a good plan, nor is it guaranteed that, as things get worse, people won’t just deny, deflect, and scapegoat like they so often do. In fact, that seems to be the biggest problem right now: Everyone is fed up with the problems, it’s just we can’t unite because a large portion of the population can’t

Dude has some very serious mental-emotional-behavioral issues. Seriously, who does that? It’s like he’s a real life chan troll before chan trolls existed and spawned little baby trolls on the Internet.

It’s already happening??

I’d give you a star but I am somehow mysteriously taking stars away at the moment, which keeps happening on and off, apparently at random, for reasons I assume are known only to God.

“I respect my craft too much to ever sexually violate it by putting women in roles simply as a quid pro quo to get in their pants.”

This made me smile.

A cromulent point.

This is good! I’m glad they made clear, specific demands too. It’s really common sense stuff; there’s no excuse not to implement it.

A family friend lied to us about their military service too. I really don’t get it.

It’s happened before, specifically with Nikolaj IIRC, where he says something tongue in cheek and fans run with it.

I don’t see the big deal with wishing people well by whatever tradition they hold to and that being received as such. Happy Holidays is inclusive, so that’s nice and makes sense for stores and such. I’ll accept Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Festivus, whatever floats a person’s boat. The spirit of the greeting

They don’t want to hurt their careers and/or they’re embarrassed. This kind of abuse is normalized and the people are groomed to accept it so they bury it. It makes complete sense to me that people would only come out with this when there’s safety in numbers and they feel like they won’t be dragged through the mud or

I’m sorry. That’s such a common response to male victims too, even more so if the perp is female; it drives me crazy. I saw a guy online confess he was raped by an ex-girlfriend, and the responses involved laughter, mocking, and claims that he was gay for not liking/wanting it. :( So basically, people are the worst; I

I think it’s good you still react that way. It means you’re not dead inside.

He’s also really, really into superlatives.

Is it just me or does it feel like they don’t really know what went wrong or why, and are just kinda fumbling around? Like, “Well, this one did a thing! This one worked! It must be [insert reason(s) no one but apparently a studio exec would come up with, like ‘it was a vignette,’ or ‘it was dark and gritty’]. Do more

I still can’t believe how well that show has aged. It never fails to make me laugh. It is a masterpiece.
