The phrase "if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life" has always bothered me. Hey, if you're lucky enough to be good at and make a living from your passion/what you love/etc, good on you. But don't imply that the rest of us just working to live are lesser.

I know how you guys feel. It really feels at my government job that I am actively incentivized to do poor work as slowly as possible. If I do a good job quickly, they just dump more work on me with no change in compensation. It's frustrating.
