I usually go $x/night of service. But this is coming from a poor public servant. I've honestly never heard of tipping on a percentage for housekeeping, but I didn't stay in many hotel rooms before I had to travel for my job.

I've had many mini-crises about this same thing. I usually just leave the tip and total lines blank completely and sign it. I honestly think that a fair amount of restaurants do not expect a tip for takeout. More than once the cashier has actually handed me the receipt and said something like, "I just need your…
What would you guess the average size of an app (Android or iOS) is?
"Maya, a 17-year-old who is far more child than adult in the games, comes off less like an innocent girl and more like an emotionally unstable woman in her 20's."
Whenever I take a photo trying to follow the rule of thirds, my sister always asks, "Why is it off center?"
That's REALLY interesting, particularly that you were encouraged to try a large variety of foods. Is it fair to say that that was encouraged specifically because your parents didn't have that luxury?
I'm kind of going on a tangent here, but can someone explain to me what people mean when they say, "I don't like vegetables." I'm not talking about "picky" people who refuse to eat vegetables. I'm talking about perfectly rational people who actually do force themselves to eat vegetables because they know they are…
Wow, thanks for the awesome reply.
Nah, I honestly don't think that's a legitimate fear for me. I've been using a crappy blackberry pearl for like 3 years now. Was using a dumbphone for like 4 years before that. I'm totally fine hanging on to things for a while
Gave it a half thought, but I'm a bit too anal for that kind of thing. I'd be too worried about warranties and such.
True, very true. Whenever I start fantasizing about a fancy high-end phone I start thinking, "Do I REALLY need that stuff?" I also wouldn't be constantly worrying about dropping my super expensive toy as much
I don't really care much about NFC, but I hear your points for future ROM support. At this point I'm weighing whether paying the extra couple hundred bucks is worth the (slightly?) faster/longer support likely with the GN over the SGS2
Android opinions humbly requested, folks.
That I haven't tried yet, though I should. I don't have a lot of room for troubleshooting, though, since the culprit iPod is a somewhat infrequent visitor to my network.
I've really only noticed the issue consistently on one computer (the other isn't on too often). The computer doesn't recover on it's own. I usually have to wait for the iPod to disconnect. Sometimes I even have to reset my DSL modem to get it up again.
This one's been perplexing me a for a while.
I just reports it the ways I hears it. But, yeah, I agree with you 100%.
Haha, I'll remember that next time to save my tongue the bruising.
Yeah, that one mystifies me. And it's really hard to argue against because it's an idiom, so there's no real logical reason for "all of a sudden" to be the "correct" way. I got into an argument about this with someone, and his stance was that language is always evolving, so it's fine if it's changed. That sounds fine…
Most of my pet peeves are grammar related, but I've learned to bite my tongue since correcting grammatical mistakes appear to be EVERYONE ELSE'S pet peeve.
