The whole point of going out is to make sure you’re eating with people who have the same tastes you do so that you can try as many things on the menu as possible.

Just came here to say that I hate cinematic trailers for video games, and I don’t understand why they exist. I don’t care what a game’s cut-scenes look like, I just want to see how it is played.
If you go to a white church, the church is full of racists. Religion is backwards. It goes hand in hand with racism.
The discussion re motion controls in the review really turned me off. I also don’t like open world games. With very, very few exceptions (Witcher 3, Shadow of War) if the game is open world that means I’m going to spend ten hours playing it, experience all of the gameplay the has to offer, get lost in TOO MANY…
I found myself randomly thinking about this game recently, though I’d completely forgotten its title. I loved math as a kid and have very fond memories of this game, one of my First of gaming experiences.
How many hours of playtime did this take?
Stardew Valley is tedium in game-form. I don’t get it. I derive no pleasure from literally any aspect of it; I’ve suffered through about 15 in-game days, and I’m pretty sure I’m never going back to it. Am I the only one?
Heineken is trash-beer. Always.
Excellent review. I wish there was a middle ground between the punishing difficulty of combat on normal and the snooze fest of combat on easy. That’s my biggest complaint.
Heist was awesome. Was initially put off that it wasn’t Dig 2 and it was months (maybe a full year) before I finally picked it up. Loved it. 2d X-Com = super fun.
WOTC has its hooks in me deeper than anything I’ve played in recent memory. I didn’t play XCOM 2 at launch (no controller support), and it sat there in my Steam library next to the many (40?) other games I’d purchased and never played, even through controller support being added with the release of the console…
Kids detract from both the time and money one needs to play videogames. Doesn’t seem like a worthwhile trade off.
Stopped reading when you said we need carbs. We don’t. It’s non-essential. Your body can make the minimal glucose the brain needs from protein via gluconeogenesis. I realize this is a fine point, and one that is perhaps not all that important (if your goal is to maximize performance in pretty much any physical…
This game is wonderful. That is all I came here to report.
Never played a Ys game, but I love me some action RPGs. How’s the battle system compare to say, Tales of Berseria’s, which I found a little boring/simplistic, or to Nier Automata’s, which was near-perfect?
It sounds like he has you both low carb and low fat, which is a recipe for disaster. If you’re trying to lose weight, and you’ve been fat forever, you will probably have the most success with low carb, but that’s only going to work if you’re eating plenty of fat - cheese, eggs, fatty cuts of steak, chicken thighs…
Thanks for the heads up. Digging this so far (after a minute of listening).
This is going to clean up on Steam. I expect the developers will try to get it on Switch. This would be amazing portable.
And bought. Thanks! Looking forward to checking it out this weekend.
Armada was atrocious.
