Chevy cares about dynamics when it counts. They aren’t chasing the Mazda3 buyer with this, they are chasing the Civic, Corolla, Focus buyer with this. The current Cruze is ok, but nothing special to drive. I just don’t see Chevy spending time and money making the 5-door a canyon carver.
I predict it won’t be quite as good as a Mazda3 because frankly Chevy doesn’t care and they know that most buyers that will shop a Chevy compact don’t care that much about the driving dynamics. Chevy will sell them because they will be stylish and they will jam more content in for less than a Mazda.
Positive: The Police actually believe that it was assault and are investigating it as such.
