Eh, I’ll add another argument: that Trump isn’t really needed anymore. Those who bought the country for Trump and the GOP got what they wanted: 4 years of stacking the courts will ensure a country favorable to the ruling class until well after these wealthy fucks die off. The courts will always be the actual top power…

I will say, it’s like he’s doing his absolute damnedest to make those on the Left (such as myself, obvi) who are against Centrism say “ewwww” in the loudest, most vocal way.

Nothing says “business-as-usual” and “GOP-lite” like trying to swing GOP donors to your side. Unless he’s promising them to continue the Trump tax cuts and stall any progressive healthcare changes, what does he have to offer?
