Those old 900Ts were incredible. When a Turbo sounded like a turbo, and the boost came on all at once. Now they sound like lawnmowers, and have just about as much personality as one too.

For the love of God, can we stop calling this a fucking Corvette? You can’t just change everything that the Corvette has ever been, and call it the same thing. I am stoked on GM making a mid-engine sports car, but this is a new car and it deserves a new name. The Corvette has a heritage, which should be respected.
This is like a Dave Coleman article, it’s amazing.
This video only makes me want a 3-series wagon more. That and hate Texas for it’s shitty roads, it’s shitty weather, and it’s non-nurburgringness.
Ferrari gives absolutely zero fucks about fairness. They need the smaller teams as backmarkers, and nothing more. Making it fair doesn’t benefit Ferrari in any way.
I seriously doubt that money is even the contributing factor in their decision. They may not be the top dog in F1 currently, but they share a seat at the top of the pile, as they have for FOREVER. Ferrari doesn’t benefit in any way by leveling the playing field, they can only be hurt by it. By allowing the small teams…
This is a fantastic breakdown. Being a parent highlights just how many skills that we possess which we wholly take for granted. Things that we were taught and learned at one point so long ago, that we forgot that we haven’t always simply had that skill. My daughter is a totally blank slate, and it’s frightening…
Can ford stop all the awful dealers from charging a 100% markup on these cars, so they can be enjoyed on the road, rather than languishing in dealership showrooms? This car is a killer deal at $80k, not so much at $150k.
Ahh, you couldn’t have done the stupid grilles on the new Civic Type R? That car is one of the absolute worst offenders of the fake grille phenomena, and said grilles are the worst part of that car’s look. Understated, it is definitely not.
The largest missed point is that the trucks are limited to 80,000lbs gross weight. If you line the trailer floor with heavy batteries, you are lowering the total possible load weight, which isn’t practical. The customers these trucks serve won’t care that they are getting great fuel economy and saving the environment,…
When they released this car, didn’t they take the press to the track to test it’s performance? If that was the case, which if I remember correctly was, then how on earth can they say that they would void the warranty for the exact same activity that they personally sponsored to promote and sell the car?
As someone who works in an industry that is heavily impacted by these regulations, environmental protection comes at an enormous cost for some, typically small businesses. It’s much easier for them to view the financial impact of these regulations and see directly how it affects their business, than it is to believe…
So basically, it was the exact thief plot from “Gone in 60 Seconds,” but with Jeeps rather than “Mercedes with laser cut keys.” What’s next, we find out this was part of operation “Shadow Games”?
But they look sooooo apologetic. You can tell they feel just TERRIBLE for almost killing that guy.
Rails on the sides of the trailers for crash purposes won’t work anyway. These trailers have to back into lots of sunken docks and maneuver in and out of places that require more height in the center of the trailer, otherwise they will get high centered. That’s the biggest problem with those under-skirts. They get…
The available height isn’t the problem anyway, it’s weight. If you wanted to double stack product like that, it would have to be very lightweight to need to fill a trailer like that. Standard freight can easily fill the 45k lb weight limit of a trailer with their standard configuration.
The Texas safety inspection is a joke anyway. When we moved here from California I expected them to actually check things that had to do with safety. I expected them to check tires, brakes, wipers, brake lights, suspension components, etc... and they didn’t glance at any of that. The car doesn’t go on a lift, there…
That is terrible mileage. Towing that same U-Haul trailer with an Integra Type-R on it, and a bed filled with household goods, I averaged 17mpg highway going from CA to TX in my 07 5.7L Tundra. Single digits in a brand new truck is a joke.
I have owned two different Integra Type Rs, and I love those cars and this brand so, so much. The prospect of getting to buy a Type R, brand new from the dealer, is something I have waited years for. And what does Honda go and do? They make a damn car that is so hideous I have ZERO interest in owning it. For the life…
100%. Hell, 1000%. Don’t forget where you came from.
