This is the dumbest thing ever, and it’s amazing.

I get that it’s the smaller SUV and it’s awesome, but is there any chance at all that this thing comes to market under $85k? Probably not. Which begs the question, who the hell is shopping for a $100k small SUV? All these AMG prices make me want to re-think my life choices.

I am surprised that they haven’t used some type of haptic feedback system, similar to the fake “tap” feeling you can get from an iPhone to simulate the clutch bite. While the gloves probably would make that difficult to fashion, it seems like a small hurdle to overcome considering F1-sized budgets.

I miss mine. It raised the bar pretty damn high.

If you look at the pictures, the large vents in the front and rear are both just blocked off solid plastic. They are cosmetic only.

I guess after owning two different Integra Type Rs and a S2000, that I was just let down by the power delivery on this car. It loses me immediately with the fake and totally non-functional vents. I am totally fine with some of the over the top styling, but aggressive venting that is only cosmetic just plain sucks. Either make it functional, or get rid of it.

Nobody at this stage has any actual clue how fast the cars actually are. Just because they can show some fast times doesn’t mean those times were on light fuel or any high downforce settings. Testing results are all about sandbagging and data logging, not real performance.

Lack of a manual sucks, but your alternative isn’t even a dual clutch, it’s a damn automatic. This is supposed to be the performance version?

Mercedes has already come out saying that they have an alternate version that has the same shark fin as everyone else, they are just going to test both.
