I suppose in a car that big and heavy the weight added by the batteries is a lower percentage of the overall weight of the car and the torque is useful to shift such a leviathan.
I think Lewis gets far too much criticism of his personality to be honest. Mansell and Senna used to be a bit of a dick at times too and now they're regarded as a legends. He's a fine racer and a fine champion.
"The corporations! We must stop the corporations!" so your argument is basically that F1 is fun and not useful and therefore a waste of money? So people or businesses aren't allowed to spend money on having fun? I own a Playstation, does this make me the devil incarnate? Also your argument assumes that F1 is not…
Those rooster tails are almost art. Really quite beautiful. They should have these driving round the big fountain in Vegas.
If it weren't for all that run off area and perhaps some more of that you know... gravel stuff he might have not hit the wall so hard. Just sayin Mr Ecclestone...
Just us Brits that like Jaguar? Have you ever seen any of the MotorTrend, Smoking Tyre or Drive videos? They tend to enjoy them as much as anyone. Allow me to give you an analogy. There are two equally expensive watches let's say $1000 so you know, expensive but not stratospheric like your $25,000 Bugatti or Pagani of…
Another way you get runaway diesels is when the turbo seals wear and start letting oil into the intake. At that point the engine just starts running on it's own oil unless you can stall it by the means you mentioned.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it a cross flow exhaust manifold rather than intake? The cold side of the engine is on the outside and the turbine is fed b the exhaust gasses coming from the centre of the V? This would make sense as it would help keep both turbos spooled equally by receiving exhaust from both banks…
That pass from Lewis was insane, especially considering the lack of DRS.
Proof that if you focus on creating a nice car rather than a quantifiably good one or a cheap one then you will end up with a car that people like more despite it's flaws. Also the Mk1's retro styling seems to have aged better than the other concept because it was aged already and therefore pretty timeless.
Land Rover build quality can indeed be pretty shoddy but what they can't do offroad isn't worth doing.
I borrowed a Soul once for a weekend and I'm sorry to say I really didn't like it. The 1.6 NA engine felt asthmatic, the gearchange felt like stirring a bag of lego, the steering was totally numb, the brake bite point was quite some way into the pedal travel and then vicious when you did find it, the interior was…
If it was a nice price then this feature would have to be called "Nice Price AND Crack Pipe?" if the sellers appearance is anything to go by.
That Moke must be an absolute riot!
The 10-foot long Mini cost just $800 at launch and had wheels at every corner, maximizing its interior space and allowing it to seat four adults. The stylish little hatchback was an immediate hit with just about everyone in England, from teenagers to well-to-do Londoners who just needed a good city car.
Intentionally not avoiding a car and the resultant collision is surely pretty much the same thing as intentionally driving into them? The rules state that you have to have a significant portion of your car alongside your rival at the point of turning in to be able to claim the line. At the point of turning into the…
Totally more than half a car length alongside... Totally Hamilton's fault... Hamilton is the son of Lucifer... Hamilton is the cause of all wrong in the world....
"Da, is smoke"
