I do get the appeal of a DGAF car. I have a really nice ‘15 Mustang GT I baby(to an extent, I still drive the piss out of it) and ONLY park at the end of the parking lot with no other cars around, and I also have an ‘04 Saturn Vue with a huge scrape down the side which I bought like that for $3k and park literally

Oh man, I didn’t even put two and two together until I read this. Seriously, least car interested person here, is this a result of equal opportunity employment? Gotta have the “don’t give a fuck about cars” guy on the team for PC reasons? lol

This^^ The Challenger and Charger have NEVER been majorly redesigned. Who wants to buy a 15 year old car for NEW car money? The Hellcat/Demon engined cars are the only appealing thing they have anymore and they are way too expensive for most people to buy. I won’t miss them if they go. They have a lot of American

We need Doug to get his hands on one of these I guess to see the quirks and features like the frunk, how can you not have a picture of the frunk on a Clio?!

Really? That is a bummer if so. Do you have a source for this info?

Totally forgot about Cleveland Cyclewerks and they are like 20 minutes from my house. The 400 Ace has my eye, I may just drive over there some day and check one out!

Growing up, my dad had a couple manual trucks he would let me shift from the middle seat. I didn’t learn to drive manual on my own until I was probably 18 and had several year driving an auto under my belt. My uncle was the only person I knew at that time who still had a manual and he lived several hours away. Well

Can’t say much about the cars, but the bikes are dope! Had a Daytona 600 and a Daytona 675 in my early 20's. That 675 was the best bike I ever had, and best sounding by far with the 3 cyl!

Don’t the stickers go inside on your window now? Bought a PA car a few months ago with a sticker in the front window on the bottom right driver side.

I did, bought a brand new Focus ST in 2013 at 23 for $26k and so did several of my buddies after I got mine.

Yes, I am the exception when it comes to finances it seems along with a handful of other in this thread who understand opportunity cost. I will not say I am an above average driver, but for damn sure I am well above average in money management. This is definitely not the norm unfortunately for most people. Schools

LMAO that you think you know me. I track basically every dollar I spend so no, I do not spend more because I use a credit card. Why on earth would something as simple as having credit on the front of the card make me magically spend more than if the card said debit on the front? It is coming out of my bank account

That and the fact that gauge clusters are lit even during the day now on almost all cars. It used to be when you couldn’t see your gauges you HAD to turn on your lights, not anymore.

What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Anyone who isn’t in the EU is a peasant? Also, you commented on a Virginia(which is in America if you didn’t know) law discussion so I think you very confused.

That’s exactly what I said. The merchant pays the 2-3% and passes the expense on to you. So if you are not getting reward points, you are just paying an extra 2-3% and getting nothing in return. Sucks you have to play the game like this but that is the cost of convenience to use a card. If every business gave a

THIS! I will add to that a debit card can actually hurt you very badly if someone steals your info. CCs have protections where you get the charges wiped off immediately, but if your debit card is stolen, you are on the hook and lose all that money until the bank can figure out what happened. Even then you may still be

No, I don’t like Ramsey because he thinks credit cards are the devil, and taking out loans on cars and houses are basically like chopping your moms left arm off. These things are not evil, they are tools that need to be used responsibly, but tools none the less. I bet Ramsey would tell you to dig a hole with your

Nope, I treat them just like my debit card. I am not just whipping them out because I have them. I don’t understand how people think like that, a dollar on my CC is still a dollar coming out of my bank at the end of the month and to think otherwise is just stupid. They are a financial tool I use just like cash but

Maybe not exactly, but it is using someone else’s money temporarily to buy things, so kinda. It is definitely not something Ramsey would advise.

I am figuring that out reading this thread hahaha. It’s crazy how simple math boggles the mind because that is all personal finance is just with a dollar sign on the front. Money in, money out, how much is left this month, repeat. Make a simple monthly and yearly budget and track where your money goes.
