I picked up one of these for a track toy last year and love it! They can be had for insanely cheap! Mine had 171,000 miles and a misfire which I grabbed for $3,000. $100 in coil packs, spark plugs, and an O2 sensor later and she was good to go!

All I see here are 4 cyl turbos, none of the turbo v6 so maybe this is just not a popular version and they are trying to move them. 

I picked up an MR2 Spyder just last year for about the same price. What a fun little car for the money! It’s a blast as a track car if that’s your kinda thing, it actually seems to be quicker than a lot of the Miatas I track with!

I highly doubt they will lower the price of the car, its not like they were adding $7,500 to the price just to take advantage of the rebate. Maybe they did on the S, but the 3 is so cheap already I doubt they have wiggle room to shave $7,500 off.

It is not a minor downclock, it is like half speed. Using GeekBench before and after a battery replacement shows double the CPU and memory speed using a new battery.

The F-150 isn’t a great idea. That generation was plagued with engine issues hence why it is so cheap.
