If I recall it was just as arbitrary- literally because 500 is more than 350.

Land Rover was never thier own company. Rover -> BMW -> Ford -> Tata.

I’ll bet that costs 2-3 times what this car does too. You have to really love LR to do that.

From what I recall, the LS swap isn’t exactly easy, and you’ll likely not end up with everything working when it’s all said and done.  If I recall correctly, things like AC are tough to hold on to.  It’s been a while since I did the research, but I briefly peeked down that rabbit hole a while back.

This was built (and more importantly, designed) at the time that Land Rover was owned by Ford. JLR was sold to Tata in 2008, but they kept on using Ford parts at least through 2016.

I would buy it, my very good friend is a RR tech though :D

Why not just get a Tahoe and swap a Range Rover interior into it?

So basically make it a Suburban?

If you can’t afford a new Range Rover, you definitely can’t afford a used one.

Ah, Range Rovers. Just the thing for a nice sunny summer drive because the heater, headlights and wipers won’t work. But then again, you’ll usually avoid those small aggravations because the damn thing won’t be able to make to the end of your driveway without breaking down in some spectacular fashion.

I’ll just say it again: every out of warranty Range Rover is a crack pipe. Every single one.

That paper floor mat says “I just got some bad news, time to unload this turkey.”

Ooooh a cheap Rover, I don't see how that could end up being super expensive in the long run....

right? theres something weirdly scary about how clean this otherwise completely ignorable car is. It is as if the owner is that guy down the street who lives alone, emerges from the house at the same time every day in his button down short sleeve shirt and NASA dad glasses for decades. But then one day the FBI is

When are we going to stop pretending that shitbox econo cars from the 80's are somehow loved and missed? The reason it only has 17k on it is because they are TERRIBLE FUCKING CARS and the original owner quickly realized it. 7k? There’s no way.

You spend 6 years working on a game as the lead then get kicked in the balls for it. That’s a large portion of a man’s life that Konami wanted to sweep under a rug.

Konami treatened lawsuit if he went if I remember correctly. He was not allowed to get himself ascociated with Konami stuff once his contract was over and that included receiving an award for a Konami game.

then it becomes #fuckonami.

Obligatory: Fuck Konami.
