Yes - the FiST was like 17,000 $ USD loaded up . So if its going to cost more than that - it needs to be faster./

Or at minimum, will it FEEL faster than the FiST. That midrange torque dip does a huge disservice, especially with the FiST turbos giving it a big midrange shove.

A used S2000 is a legitimate target the toyobaru team needs to beat. As it is now, you could buy a very clean S2000 with a hardtop for under the price of a new 86. I considered both a couple years ago when shopping for a different track car and ended up with an S2000 after realizing the 86 really just didn’t compare

Um, but will it be faster than a Fiesta ST?

Tell that to the Toyota and Jeep off-road crowd.

Yeah, but the hot engine on a Mustang and Camaro make competitive power.  A 6 cylinder super making 350 HP - not so much.

After seeing things about BMW V8s eating valvetrain, and BMW V10s turning themselves into junk on the bottom end...

I’ll believe Nissan a bit more once they get a production-ready car and announce that they are in fact in production. The (lack of) IDX really soured my faith in their commitment to anything sporty.

I fixed it for you.

And anybody would buy this withe new Z coming out why?

5.9% is high. Really high, unless you have bad credit.

No, but the dealer can install one and roll it into the financing for $599.

I can get sub 2% from my credit union all day long for a 36-60 mo note. Given most US manufacturers like to play the “incentives OR cheap financing” game, it would often come out better to use the CU’s money. But ultimately, you have to run the numbers and see what is cheapest overall if you care about bottom line

The shorter-term rates are more competitive: 0% for up to 48 months, 1.9% for 60 or 72 month terms.

Capturing that elusive “can’t even be bothered to look at a loan from a bank” market.

Why is this customer a douchebag?

As terrible as everyone is here, and as much as I hate the idea of more publicity for "Salt Bae", I really want to know the results the lab analysis. Consider this a cringing request to keep us updated on this story.

I think there is probably plenty of room for everyone in this story to be the asshole. That being said...

I’m normally and somewhat automatically team restaurant because most of the time, customers suck and I say that as the unofficial “Salty Patron” myself. Also, anyone who immediately says they will head to Yelp to publicize a complaint is someone I typically want to knee in the crotch.
