Irish is not a race.

This thing.

Looks like Strong Sad.

Was that actually a child's backpack and lunch box tumbling down the road in front of the truck?

Well, that was kind of anti-climactic. I think it was only so harrowing for you because you didn't have much seat time and weren't used to it. I mean, a Prius to a Jag XKR is a big jump and not just because of power. The handling, road feel...well, all the dynamics are vastly different and you don't really discover

You know what all this does? It's simple, really.

Also, the author of the page you linked says it right on the page:

Yeah but that's a design for a large hybrid system in like a diesel electric locomotive when the engine doesn't drive the train but drives some kind of stator assembly to generate electricity to drive electric motors that drive the train. I don't think that stuff like a Prius uses that crank design 'cause it won't

Atkinson cycle engines are similar to Miller cycle engines but they don't use a supercharger. They use a delayed valve closing to increase the compression by utilizing the inertia of the air charge in the intake to get a sort of "ram air" effect to bump compression and gain power.

Miller cycle engines.

Now playing

Seriously, sounds like a Ford 427 "Cammer" or a standard "FE" if it were fuel injected.

And here I am, stupid me, thinkin' it just looked like a 4x4 Fusion wagon!

$177,268 for a '67 Sting Ray is a steal. Especially if it's all original. Makes me wonder what's wrong with it. Modifications and non-stock, non-numbers matching parts are what drop values.

College grads may not be the intended market but there will be young people lusting after a Z/28. Whether they can actually attain it or not is a different story.

Listen, kid, if you're going to commit a straw man fallacy, you gotta do better than that.

Are you reading the same Jalopnik article I am?

I don't. I don't care.

Listen, junior, just because you SAY something isn't true doesn't mean it isn't. Offer some legitimate proof that a 4 second lead on a multi-turn road course covering several miles for multiple laps is a huge deal or shut up already.

Because, like this comment, it added no value to the conversation and it's only purpose was to ridicule me and accuse me of something that I wasn't doing.

I don't see your proof of this in any race results anywhere. I see ZL1's running and competing and stealing a few wins in places but not enough to qualify as "ass kicking".
