Sorry! Took the weekend off last week. I'm back and so too are Pokemon.

Whew. Thought this feature was done for good.

Inject it into my veins now.

Zack, I gotta say man, since you took over weekends, I have started actively looking forward to weekend Kotaku because of gems like these.

I posted basically this, and I wonder sometimes why I bother.

I keep bees as a hobby, and it never occurred to me that only female combees can evolve, which is just awesome. Drone bees are basically useless and pretty much just exist as sperm receptacles.

So does my mother, she’s not that special

The character designs are borderlining on Liefeldian.

Not getting the actor’s likeness rights is going to hurt. People have been watching these characters for a decade now. They know what they look like. Stylized would have been a better choice than realistic without those likeness rights.

Befor a game in —I believe February— they had been listening to 80s pop music in the dressing room. Gloria came on the mix and the team started singing along. After they won, the first thing said in the dressing room was “Play Gloria!!” It became their victory song and their unofficial theme song.

sweet, delicious schadenfreude

a gift for you

Chaos, but ultimately chaotic neutral

Laffs fan here. Watching Marchand have a defensive aneurysm at the end of the first resulting in the second goal, then losing the game, then crying on the bench, then crying at the press conference....I feel like WE won the cup as well.
I feel warm, I feel fuzzy, and my outlook on life is rosy.

Thank you St. Louis.

Shots on goal is a meaningless stat if the shots don’t go in.

I didn't realize I'd come across a salt deposit this close to the surface of the comments section.

Your book will be an all time worst seller.

Bruins, especially Chara, definItely committed the most non-called penalties in fucking NHL playoff history. Sit the fuck down or go cry somewhere else.

Been with this team 46 times around the sun and it really doesn’t seem real. The rug is always pulled at some point, usually in the second round at some distant western arena.

So you are pro-cameras-in-public-restrooms or am I missing your point?
