Yeah, that was the exact moment it clicked for me.

*long-winded explanation hat* Elvenkind are not like men. Their physical bodies are more like houses that hold their spirits. Their spirits don’t die when their houses get destroyed, they go back and chill for a bit and then get rehoused. Most of them get rehoused in the undying lands. Glorfindel was an exception who…
Look, I know all the warning signs are there for this movie, but I so want it to be good. Especially with the Demon Bear hints. I mean, come on. They’re working with such an excellent starting point if they’re adapting that story-line in any way, shape, or form.
I expected a live-action ReBoot movie to have more characters with blue and green skin, but I get what they’re going for. I mean, I also didn’t expect them to make AndrAIa an adult man, but eh, it’s an interesting adjustment.
So, basically, he’s AndrAIa from ReBoot. Which might make the other lead Matrix? I’m cool with a stealth ReBoot reboot.
He’s right and he should say it. This is half the reason I don’t go to movies at the theater much anymore. Explosions and music are way too loud. Dialogue is almost inaudible.
But do they run into Hugh Jackman there as he travels through time or memory or... something, trying to connect with his wife and briefly turning into a Conquistador?
PRETTY MUCH. I’m not paying for any of these.
It’s really uncanny
Yeah, I did a double-take, because I thought for a moment they’d gotten very crafty.
All I have to say is that I didn’t realize how much Ridley looked like young Luke until I saw the picture for “It’s a Vision!”
Thanks for eloquently expressing the ball of feelings I’ve been trying to untangle about this kind of thing.
That lightsaber effect at the end is... uh. It’s definitely a thing. A thing that does not work nearly as well as the reveal of Maul’s double saber, despite all the years of CGI improvements. (Also, team clone Rey or secret twins since this is JJ we’re talking about.)
Her?
I do, however, have an urban legend from my birth location (lived there six months, it counts as a home town, yeah?) Anyway. So, this is a swampy area along the south-eastern seaboard of the U.S. A place not exactly friendly to locals, with roads overrun with sand blown off the coast and crabgrass, with roads overhung…
Okay, so my folks came from an area settled by German immigrants back in the day and, as such, most of our urban legends are old-country spooky, I guess? I was a military brat and had no hometown, so I’m stealing theirs.
Still with Sam and Ruth really? *frowny face*
As near as I understand it, in the show at least, ghost Pokemon aren’t just ghosts. I know this because my kids watched Sun and Moon and there was a character there with a ghost of a ghost-type Pokemon (Mimikyu). Which was... uh. Weird.
Managing conflicting players is my least favorite part of dming (having seven players makes it... unavoidable). Maybe it’d be more fun in a video game?
Man, was this like 15 years ago in the ground floor apartment of an old building with a clueless/asinine DM because I swear I played in this game.
